A New York appeals court moved to overturn Harvey Weinstein's 2020 conviction, citing “egregious” rulings that allowed allegations unrelated to the charges to be introduced in testimony. Being said I do not like this individual obviously he's a very bad man but unfortunately he has the right of fair trial and apparently his rights were violated irony there therefore causing this overturn and conviction. I believe it's somewhat similar to what happened with Bill Cosby because they wanted so badly to convict the individual they used a strategy dad legally is not well legal That's how they presented the evidence. One thing we can agree on is this person is a horrible individual One thing I don't agree with is a fact that some of the women that came out and said he did things with them apparently had intercourse not just once but multiple times of this span of multiple years and even sent messages of praise over that time I feel like a lot of real victims in this case were not heard and instead I'm sorry to say but individuals who knew what they were doing of making a deal selling themselves or fame and riches are now trying to claim that they are some type of victim when apparently this has been an open thing for the last 25 years plus I truly feel sorry for the real victims

As an actual conservative, I don’t care about the finer points about that. Because even if I were to grant that all of Harvey Weinstein’s sexual encounters were consensual (which I don’t), he (and his ilk) should still go to jail for the abominable mortal sins of adultery, fornication, and lusting after women. The fact that that so-called conservatives blow past the fact that men even consider having sex outside of marriage, as opposed to exercising the virtue of chastity is the problem.

I knew this was likely. I heard an interview with one of his attorneys after the conviction and that judge was running a kangaroo court. One of the jurors allowed to stay on was writing a book about men abusing women with a chapter on Weinstein. Absolutely insane what has happened to our justice system. It was all downhill after OJ.

No Michael you didn't make a good video. You rambled on about how ugly the guy is with really never getting to the point. You have a young audience and need to be more direct because many of them are easily influenced and need to understand WHY this specific conviction is being over turned. The man is ugly but that really is irrelevant, or it should be to the law. The man is corrupted and perverted in and out of the bedroom/boardroom but even that between consenting adults is legal, especially in CA and NY. The reason this was overturned is because the judge permitted too much testimony about how vile Weinstein's character was and not enough about actual laws he broke. The man has a conviction that has stood and will serve it out if he lives long enough-he is very ill. I can't be the only one who doesn't want any more tax dollars spent on this. Personally I think the all his assets and royalties should be seized to pay for this charade of law and the government should just move on. The casting couch is a Hollywood institution and I have no sympathy for it, many use it to get ahead and then call fowl decades later when they used it for their advantage. (Yeah I said it and you should have too!). These issues clog up the justice system preventing real victims from getting justice in a timely manner. There is nothing to see here, move on.
