Maybe Ben Hunt looked over and saw how Canberrra moved earth for Croker 300 and yet Ben Hunt was like barely given a hi -5 for 300th game, the club clearly don’t really care about him they just think he’s the guy that can get the result they want. Maybe Hunt sees how are 30+ year old players are being treated and looked after on and off the field and see that he’s busting his backside for a club that doesn’t even know what they are doing? Ben Hunt has given his heart and soul to the team on the field but his constant agitation and ultimatums of the field over the years must have had a negative impact on the team. He only has a couple of years left and won’t be around by the time the Dragons are challenging for the premiership so we might as well draw a line in the sand and find out sooner rather than later if the young guys are up to it. Thank him for his service and wish him luck but make sure we work out a deal to our advantage with his new club. Get some gun forwards in their prime to give the young halves every chance to succeed. I think Hunt will chase a trophy at Penrith or Easts this year (even if it means playing hooker at Penrith) then take the $$ at another club for 2 or 3 years a’ la Tevita Pengai Junior. It’s a joke that it can be done but that’s the way it is.

Look at hat has been done to them ,, first they completely changed the rules of the game to beat St George ,, then they forced them to make a NEW club because after insisting Illawarra be it's own team they FORCED St George to become a new club. Meanwhile the drug cheats at the Cronulla ( MULLETS) are treated like they are something special and not forced to join with another club. The Feather-dusters continue to salary cap CHEAT and add NOTHING to the juniors. It is the entire system management that is a basket case

Im a Dagons supporter but really don't like the club. Getting rid of the Morris brothers to race Gasnier back into the side to claim the 2010 premiership showed their true colours There's no loyalty, just faceless management who are only interested in bolstering their own careers. We had a Dragons management group frequent our business and they were the biggest bunch of farkwitts that I had to actively curtail my desire to smack one of them in the mouth. Having said that- they won't b winning the comp this year or next, so how much of a role could Hunt be expected to play in 2025? I personally believe he's one of the best to play for the club in the 2000's- I mean name someone better? But if he wants to go what can you do? I'll still respect him.

lee brooks on the money.....! the NRL needs to fine big time the clubs that are negociating with ben hunt. fine them, dock them competition points and/or cut their salary cap for a few years..... its not right. ben has a contract that runs for over 2 more years. GUS very coy with his responses. the bulldogs i imagine are one of the clubs that have been negociating with him....!
