Walmart Spark is a lifesaver over the summer for me. I made $123 in 4 hours on Wednesday evening last week and only $29 of that came from food delivery. The rest was all Walmart spark.

I have seen guys waiting for and order carrying multiple phones and so customers have mentioned me that sometimes the person delivering their food is not the one that supposed to deliver their food, so I assume that they have different accounts so there is some kind of scam going on with all these gig work apps and that is why orders are so low lately. 👎

I am convinced that Scottsdale AZ is just a direct copy of the restaurants you find in the Chicagoland area. They have Potbelly's, Lou Malnati's, etc. The only thing they're missing is Portillos... unless they have that too lol.

Yea man. I come from northern Illinois, and it blew my mind to see Lou Malnati’s and Portillos. But, really the valley is a hodgepodge of everything. It probably has a bigger New York Italian food influence than Chicago though (as far as original, non chain). I love the food here, but it really doesn’t have an identity, sadly.

That’s really wild to me bc in my market in New York state it’s seemingly more busy in the summer/nicer weather than it was in the winter/cold weather. Our busiest area is also downtown but that also happens to be the worst part of the city 🤷🏻‍♂️

I mean this last weekend was great for me, including Thursday. But I'm definitely noticing signs of slowdown. During January to March period, you could work basically every night including Tuesday and make at least $20 an hour..... these days, if it wasn't for huge catering orders: I would skip Tuesday to Thursday entirely I'm also noticing the late night orders are almost entirely gone even on weekends or are $2 to $5 orders.

It’s the total opposite in my area. It gets busy in the summer end in the winter there’s literally nothing available in my zone by the time it comes to me at midnight. Everybody must scoop it up on the 3 PM scheduling people. And I can’t - I’m on the way anymore even when I’m scheduled in the next zone and two minutes away from it if I’m not there in time they end my dash. But as far as how busy, it is as far as how many offers they send me sitting at 4% AR I’ll get back to you on that when I’ve had a few days to actually deliver. Still coming out of the winter blues and have some eggs and pains this week so I can’t say I’ve dashed unless you count turning it on and get it off after a couple shitty offers but actually done one in a couple of weeks. I also have to turn in Uber eats on more often when I am out dashing. Although I would not dirty stack because I don’t have a good luck like that even if they were going to the same street with my luck, one of the restaurants would be way late having it ready or something. Plus I kind of feel bad for the customers in general and the restaurant if it is cold when it gets there when I see people dirty stacking. Actually, I’m amazed that people show it on here so much (not you, Trevor I didn’t see that if you have) considering, it’s against the terms of service that we sign. Don’t get me wrong when it works out well as a double what they’re making in 15 minutes I’m a little bit jealous. 😂 but I don’t have too many options at the moment so I can’t take the chance of getting deactivated. Yeah, here it’s busier in summer even with the year-round people that or the vacationers tip more so the people formerly top Dashers now platinum are getting those orders and I’m getting them or local ones that they may be get in the winter. But I don’t go more than 3 miles unless it’s double digits. Give or take.

Yes, my market has slowed down considerably as a college town since about 2 weeks ago. However, you can still get $19-22 an hour on weekdays and 25-30 weekends if you are smart about the hours you work and the general hotspots to be around (multiapping obviously). And you will have to work later hours as well

I drive all over the Phoenix area, but I try to drive from 11pm - 5am and pretty much only use Uber Eats because DD seems to pay bad for me that late. I am picky with the orders and compare $ to est time, if its not over $24/h or close to it, I will decline. I average $25-$35/hr depending on how good the orders are.

I never understood why people think declining for 30 minutes is a good thing. The potential to make at least $15+ dollars for those 30 minutes. Then make another potential $15+. $5 for 4 miles is not bad, 4 miles takes like 5 minutes or less. You have 60 minutes in an hour. I think to string as many $5/4 or $10/5 miles. Then I always get a great shopping order between $15 to $30 within the that hour. Now it don’t alway work that way, because I may get a $40 shopping order that takes me 30 to 40 minutes. I don’t even have a catering bag and still do $150 easy. An don’t even drive the dinner shift. I get it’s for content bro but you could make way more money if you didn’t focus on Hourly Rate. Focus on daily goal period. $150 is my least and anything after is a bonus.

Low ball orders only work if the store you're picking up from is fast. I do the same, but those low offers are store specific for acceptance.

@@blazedones if you know your area and have a high acceptance rate. You won’t really worry about low ball orders. No don’t take $2 for 9 miles, but if you’re really willing to sit 30 to 40 minutes. Just to get a $15 for 2 miles. You possibly could have make $20-$30 within that hour if you took a couple $5 for 4s. We’re so stuck in 2020 and all the great tips we were getting when people were getting free money and willing to pay us $20 tips. We’re back to reality and the fact of the matter is that not everyone understands that we’re doing something they don’t want to do. Drive in traffic, wait in line and get back in traffic. We’re out to make money, and if you recalibrate your mindset. An stop thinking hourly and start thinking Daily Goal. You’ll do amazing! Trust me man, Mondays-Wednesday are slow days. I still make $150 though no matter what. When the weekend comes I kill($200+) those days to make my weekly of 1200. Now I’m taking one day off which is Mondays. I still make $1200, bro just hustle I promise you’ll be good. Just try it and come back to me. Get your acceptance rate to 88 or so so you can decline but stay above 80. I guarantee you’ll make $100 easy within the first 4 hours. **** I don’t even have a catering bag by the way or multi app****

Something I have noticed over the last month or so atleast for myself is that doordash seems busier during the afternoon early part of dinner basically from 11am to about 6/7 sometimes earlier.. and then it just dies like very little orders and mostly bad ones at that.. when usually it was busier at night but my day times have been much better idk exactly why but that's my take as of late..

The main culprits are the idiots that blindly accept any shit order and fall for the top dasher scam. If those $3 orders never get delivered, these companies would be forced to changed. Blame the people who allow these orders to get delivered first and foremost. I remember once seeing this lady on a very busy Friday night blinding accept a $4 for 3 mile add on without even looking at the screen. It took everything inside me not to tell her people like her are why these orders still exist
