Hey man, I think if you actually travelled from coast to coast doing Uber eats it would make for a fascinating series and your channel would explode. Seeing how someone would handle the dead zones, different cities and the cost of the rental cars would be wild. Having a popular KZbin channel is a nicer lifestyle.

Wow, CDL? Make sure that's really what you want. It's fine if you don't mind long lonely trips unless you are going to do regional stuff. A lot of companies want you to do team driving which can be a pain. It really is a great way to travel around the US but still it's going to be a BIG change in lifestyle for you.

No shame Trevor, I’ve been living in my car too for several years and despite what some people may think or how much sympathy they have. I’m glad I did it because rent is too damn expensive. In a lot of places and it’s been allowing me to save money to get involved with investing. and you know what a lot more people than ever are living in their RVs or their vehicles whether it’s by choice or not. This is especially a good opportunity if you’re single and don’t have kids. I seriously don’t advise anyone with children to live in their cars but for single guys like maybe you possibly and me it’s not that bad and honestly I feel safer living in my car than living with roommates who may steal or harm me…….

I don't remmeber the name of the school it was 15 years ago. The school was great and they let you stay in the school until you graduate. They also had student loans you could get, and then your employer would pay off the loan when you get hired, which for a guy like you, would not be much problem.

Yes, it’s been very very slow so slow that I actually went and got a W-2 job I’m a little bit negative in my bank account which that’s not good and I have my car payment due in my car insurance due. I’ve already asked for extensions so it’s not looking too good, but I have my orientation Friday morning with my W-2 so hopefully I can start the next day and they’ll just have to wait for their payments until I get my first paycheck. I don’t know my wife works part time and she take care most of the bills such as rent, I don’t know in a CDL is not worth it you’ll do over the road and it’s not worth it. You literally have to lease the truck so I don’t know what his preferences but I’ve looked into it several altercations and then I finally did some deeper homework they’re getting very very strict.

Not telling you not to get your CDL, but as someone with a CDL you personally will probably make more money doing DD than as a 1st or 2nd year CDL driver.. Not every DDer will make more money than someone with a CDL, but watching your vids it's clear you would. On the flip side a youtube channel for trucking will most likely make more than a youtube channel for DD, so it's a coin toss. On the personal level you will have less freedom doing OTR trucking than doing DD, but I wouldn't say it's a bad thing to have a CDL in your pocket, so if you have no family to take care of it can't hurt to spend a year trucking and get your CDL.. (btw I had my own authority for 4 years and it's a cut throat business) If you don't mind living in a car and want to travel, I'd get a little Ford transit connect van and convert it for van life. You can then live on the road very easily and affordably and travel around doing DD. Before I did trucking I did van life for 4 years and now I want to go back to Van life and just do gig work. When I was doing Van life gig work was a new thing so wasn't viable but now I'm doing it full time so I'm getting another van and travel around doing gig work.

With your expenses, you probably make more than someone making close to 100,000 a year if you do the math. Take care of your health brother, you will be a millionaire and you want to be able to enjoy your health then! You are smarter than 90%! 😂

Also, get a used car! Do the math, you are buying one renting a car about every 2 weeks 😅

Being living in your car why not push for $300+/day and bankroll the $

Because after you’re driving around all day for 12 hours to make money, it gets extremely exhausting now the dude literally has to sleep in his backseat all night long and not even sleep that well because you can still hear noises outside your car and it sucks. Been there done that, you don’t have a bed you don’t have air-conditioning except from your car obviously you can’t run your car all night it’s not very good to do that. Plus he’s gonna burn his fuel running his air-conditioning at night or air to keep cool and comfortable and burning all his gas out for the next daypeople don’t realize what it’s like to live in a car it’s not freedom. Trust me.

I wish you the best but I'd also dissuade you from getting a cdl totally not worth it right now. If that other job falls through figure out where you're going to stay and try to get personal clients and build a reputation for catering both the apps then personal runs.

He honestly needs to go and get a normal job or a W-2 and still do DoorDash and Uber eats on the side that gives this man the ability to save a bunch of money and I do agree with you. A CDL is not a very good thing right now, it doesn’t matter if a company pays for it or not do not do it it’s not worth it

How are you homless when you drive a nice car, have 40k youtube subs and make 100$ + daily gig work? Sounds a bit click bait tbh

Born and raised there and I definitely agree it’s going to be cheaper for Trevor given he’s been around Phoenix and Boston, which are pricey cities nowadays. biggest downside would be crime given that those two other cities have significant lower crime rates than Houston.

It’s starting to affect everywhere. Gig work is slowly dying out. You will be forced to go back to a normal W-2 job. I’m doing DoorDash and Uber eats full-time right now and I’m being forced to go back to a W-2 job to do fucking dishes because I have no money and you make no money doing this, everyone says the market is different and that may be true but I highly doubt people are bringing home $1000 a week. There’s no way I won’t ever believe it. This young man is homeless and he needs to understand that he’s going to need more revenue to get ahead, he can’t just rely on these freaking stupid apps when I was homeless I seen a lot of people living in their vehicles I’m really not homeless I live with my fiancé but when her and I argue, I packed my stuff and I leave but I always end up coming back because living in your car sucks Now before I helped her get this place Her and I were literally homeless living in a vehicle and a four-door Jetta with a dog I had a W-2 because I didn’t know nothing about gig work at that time and it was hard then so I can only imagine right now now I will tell you this when I was living in my car for the weekend down here in Florida. It was during the summer when it was like 80° and humid at night those nights sucked. I would burn through so much gas because I had to leave my air-conditioning on I don’t know Trevor you might have to go back to a W-2 buddy.
