Has ebay just killed second hand selling?

hello I feel a flat file in My eBay but the problem is that I have no sales, could I show you my products so you can tell me what you think about them so could you tell me how to act in this case? what actions to take could you recommend some tutorials for me?

i like most here have some serious concerns about this and contacted ebay it seems adding the manafacture of the product will be required in the listings but ebay wount stop you adding products if there is missing information thats required or flagged they will contact you to try and resolve the listing , the economic operator is only for ce marked products so wount apply to alot of catergories take back policy and additional disclosures are optional so it may not be as bad as it first seems but id say contact ebay directly about what your selling for piece of mind im sure by decemeber it will become alot clearer

This GSPR is going to force an enormous amount of people to cut Europe out of sales. How do you sell something when the maker is unknown, made by a single person who has now passed or when a company has been out of business for 70-80 years. When information is not available what are the options. Its a huge issue for eBay & an even bigger issue for European sellers who can't escape this madness. I bet eBay will have a work around or its game over for a huge chunk of their business in Europe.

I sold about one item during two weeks. My feed back score has been stuck at the same level for weeks also. It's bizarre.

will be a PITA and just another thing that makes listing on ebay (compared to other platforms so longwinded). However, i'll just have to do it. i expect many will just make up an address if they cant figure one out and that sort of thing.

The EU I'm not too bothered by but I sell a lot to Northern Ireland, most of which has long since been removed from the packaging, so that's a bummer. I'm going to wait and see as to what's expected of us and to what extent this legislation applies, depending on what sells. I don't want to lose NI as a market and to be honest I can't fathom why they've been included, but if it comes to that then so be it.

Going to wait and see what tools eBay bring out. My thinking is they will want to make it as easy as possible for sellers as end of day less sales will effect them. I have seen a few people in other groups saying look what have done to us, no eBay have not this is a EU ruling, and eBay are looking at ways to help. Now does this effect clothing, and I sell random collectables such as little trinket dishes, they do not come with a manual lol.......... So just going to wait and see like Andrew says.

Looks like Global Shipping Programme is going to be defunct come December and unless Northern Ireland can sort something out it will virtually kill trade between GB and NI overnight. After Brexit and the German packaging regulations GSP is a very small part of my business but because I ship with Royal Mail I would reckon NI is a good 10% of my business gone. BTW responsible person - you are going to have to pay a 3rd party in the EU/NI to become your responsible person for all your relevant listings.

For the EU maybe, still areas outside of it to sell to on GSP. I’m still waiting to see what happens come December at the minute before I take any action though

@@anpj2006 it’ll be like Germany all over again with people just switching it off because they can’t be bothered with the regulations. I just looked at my sales over the last month and 10% where to NI/EU. So I’d rather not switch it off
