I’ve used many of those GE panels for new services and installing sub panels. On the panel sticker there will be info about which ground bar kit #’s will fit in the panels. I’ve found that most of the time it’s one of the two most common kits that are available. But if you use the kit that is listed on the sticker in the panel, you shouldn’t need to drill and tap that one hole to make the ground bar kit fit in the panel. And technically you should be only using equipment that is listed for use in the panel anyway, right? So the correct size bar that IS listed for use in that panel won’t require you to drill holes and tap the holes to make it work. Not that I’ve never done what you’re showing in the video. Lol

Wrong way to strip insulation. NEVER ring a wire to remove insulation. It nicks the wire creating weak spots for strands to break off when bent . Use the pencil sharpener method. They do make great hand & powered tools that ring the wire that never nick the wire.

Would not use a GE POS junk panel in my house even if they paid me. Last two ge garbage panels that were installed had covers that would not open no more then 60 degrees. Believe the NEC states that doors must open at least 90 degrees. GE has the worst service & parts support. Took them two years to get a under voltage relay for a 8 year old Millon dollar 13,200 dual service switch gear.
