Great question, Richie is a poor man's Chris Cornell but you cannot ever replace a guy like Chris. Richie is underappreciated, but love his stuff with Adrian Smith He and the guys from Soundgarden should form AudioLiberated.

I cringe when anyone drops Chris Cornell's name on Richie. Why would he entertain the idea of playing someone else's music when he's got his own thing going. I am a fan of both. Chris being gone sucks, but having Richie sing Soundgarden/Audio Slave isn't going to bring Chris back. Move on.
