@@grinningchicken then again, Riley never had any success with the top QB coming out of high school until Caleb. Look up the rich hard working kid that was national player of the year he got when he was at East Carolina. Same DC he brought in when Kyler played for us was the head coach at East Carolina at that time. Needless to say, we had the best offense with the best player in the country carrying the worst defense in the country! The three QBs before rattler were transfers too! Big difference but like I said,Caleb was already taylor made when Riley got him.

As a Saints fan, I’m so excited for Jake and Spencer. Jake seems like he’s gotten better from last year and Spencer has the talent to compete already! On Spencer I think he was probably childish in highschool, but when he went to college he got his act together. Especially in South Carolina, I’ve seen so many post and comments saying how mature and how much of a leader he was at South Carolina. He definitely grew up a while ago and I’m happy he can contend as a potential franchise QB of my team.

Not to kick a man while he's down, but I remember a bunch of Saints fans saying that the Raiders were idiots for letting him go. We all just kind of silently nodded and waited for the Carr show to start down in New Orleans. He's a great man personally but he really is just a slightly more modern Andy Dalton. A guy who can go from borderline MVP qualifier to absolutely dogsh!t from week to week, but most of the time he' just boringly average. I'm just glad he isn't our problem anymore now we have the perfect situation of... Minshew and O'Connell... Yo New Orleans you want like a 5th round pick for Carr back?
@simlucien

@@JammerAma I have no idea what saints fan said that. Every reach I saw was immediately being pissed and hating DA even more. “He’s rebuilding the raiders🤦🏾” was common. Ha, we had Dalton the year before, and I instantly started calling Carr Hot Topic Andy Dalton because they put up basically the same stats at the same part of their careers and Derek wears mascara. Yeah, seems like a good enough guy, albeit I tend to not trust people who are good guy tryhards, but he’s a mediocre QB. He’s basically #12-20 on any given year. A 5th and you take the ridiculous contract we signed him too/restructed 🤦🏾

@@simlucien All over the place Saints fans clowned the Raiders for "failing Derek Carr" despite the guy not really pulling a lot of his own weight. Carr's the real deal in terms of being a nice dude though and you can tell by all the shade he threw the Raiders after they cut him (rightfully so McDouchebag handled that so poorly it's ridiculous). If it were someone plastic and fake like Russ Wilson he'd be all smiles and saying it's all good. At least Carr has a slight bit of human edge to him haha. And don't even get me started on Dennis Allen. I cannot believe that man got another shot at being a head coach after his stint in Oakland.

As a Saints fan, I'm happy that rattler fell to us. He's had to learn some hard lessons along the way, and it does seem like he's more humble than he was a kid. I hope he sits for the year and learns (also because our o-line is trash right now). Then maybe next year he can compete for the starting job

Oklahoma QB history is actually insane but it’s wild because some of your favorite players prolly played there and you ain’t never notice. OU has to be a top 5 school when it comes to producing talent bruh. BOOMER!😎

I was actually on the junior team when he was in high school, he wasn’t the best of guys and would smoke a lot of w*** and wouldn’t be a good guy I do think he changed

To be fair, that high school photo had a lot of star quarterbacks who didn’t excel at the college level. He played for two D1 programs in the Big 12 and SEC. I am not concerned he was drafted low, my biggest concern for him is being drafted by the Saints. I don’t think the Saints will have a good a season which will lead to the coach losing his job and all the players will be placed on notice.

Spencer has always treated his football career as tho it was a given. He showed up to the combine over weight not looking his best. I have not seen any signs of Spencer being able to deal with any adversity. The mental game at his position is huge he needs to do alot of work to do in this area to have any chance of being a long term starter.

Mmm i had a qb like that in middle school. Dude was talented with arm strength and accuracy but SUCKED as a leader. He was also a lefty, and none of us had ever caught left handed spirals before so there was an adjustment period. Dude kept being a princess the whole training camp. I think he made 3 passes all year. Run heavy scheme, but no one wanted to deal with him after the first two weeks of camp

@flemloraps man do I have a story for you. I know why he was suspended the rest of his senior season. I played on pinnacle’s rival team. Horizon. Lived right down the road from spencer’s team and I heard he got suspended for being caught with a wax pen. His backup was actually a 3 star who still toasted our defense in a close rivalry game my freshman year. Now you could make a whole video about Spencer’s backup jd Johnson. 3 star recruit close with the Michigan coaching staff. Gets diagnosed with a heart disease his senior year and can never play a down of football again . After hearing this news, the Michigan coaching staff offered him a job and he’s been working as an assistant qb coach I believe. Forming relations with jj McCarthy and Jim harbaugh

Had the opportunity to coach against this guy in 7 on 7 tourneys and watch quite a bit of his games while he was in hs. He was arrogant talked hella trash. Walked with confidence. He was the no. 1 qb in the nation he had no business trash talkin kids that were never going to even make a d-3 or juco team… that says it all right there. I could tell he was a special qb. But also sensed something off. Also heard from class mates that he was a grade a D-bag. I laughed when he left Oklahoma. It only showed he wasn’t cut out for it. It wasn’t toxic. He was toxic.. big difference. You go to a program where they’re all top recruits in the country tryna win of course it’s gonna be competitive. It showed that what I saw as a high school coach that what I felt around him was the right feeling. He had no business acting the way he did in high school. He settled on going to South Carolina. Of course for reasons that would keep him relevant as a starter. Of course to keep him a nfl prospect. It’s still the SEC. I hope he has humbled himself and I wish this kid nothing but success. I was not opposed to the raiders taking him. Cause I knew him making it to the nfl through all that changed his character flaws. Good luck Spencer

OU fans are some of the most loyal folks, and even they disliked this guy. Calling others toxic was hilarious considering his history. Caleb absolutely deserved to play over him. He needed to get humbled and I'm glad to see he's finally maturing
