I had the spicy one 2 times now and I actually really liked it. The only part I hated was the price. Taco Bell is trying to get away with highway robbery these days. This taco should be a dollar or maybe 2 dollars max. A tiny taco like that should never be 3 bucks for one. Thats the main reason I still go to del taco instead. They have tons of items that are a dollar or two or less and they taste great.

I got a couple of these yesterday and while I did enjoy them, they were very small. Like half the size of the regular soft tacos. The ones in the ads look huge. As someone who works at one, I can answer why its salty. It an old piece they gave you since I tried one that was left over at the end of the night it got super salty and dry out of nowhere, however when fresh to 10 mins its pretty moist, not super salty and actually has a tortilla chip taste. Personally I like the non-spicy version since it doesn't drown out the crust flavor with the jalapeno vinegar.

for consistency I'd agree, but on a best case scenario, McDonald's can be the best. But ya just never know with McDonald's. I've only been to three different wendy's, but they were all comparable. That speaks well for the Wendy's franchise.

I couldn't wait to try this! I went to the closest Taco Bell (mistake), ordered a regular and a spicy. The regular was just a chicken strip and the bread around it. That's it! The spicy was the same only it had 2 tiny dots of sauce on it. I mean if you took an ink pen and put a dot on a paper that's literally what this was. The jalepeno slices were thrown loosely in the bottom of the bag. After trying it I said, "Well ,for a chicken strip and bread it's meh...edible, but not memorable." I really wish I would have gotten some sauce or something. I'm not sure I care enough anymore to try one properly made. 😕

@@KempSanders Well I'm a big fan of the musical and the mask with the two eye holes is on the cover of the playbill and soundtrack and the mask with the one eye hole is the mask that was used in the performance I also am a fan of the original 1925 Lon Chaney film. I had one yesterday. It's ok, but for the size, it should be on their $1 menu. The $2.50 price point is too high when compared to other similarly sized items on the TB menu. The chicken chipotle melt is far better, and it's only a dollar.

I was surprised watching this video about how different our experiences were with this item. At my Taco Bell location, this item only cost me $1.29. I found the chicken to be quite flavorful, with the tortilla coating providing a satisfying crunch and the chipotle sauce adding the perfect amount of heat without having to add any additional sauces. I did however also find the flatbread to be fairly disappointing. I guess it just goes to show the wide range of results you can expect from fast food places depending on your area. Regardless, I still enjoyed this video and hearing your thoughts. Take care, ReviewBrah!

Depends on the location you go to. Let's take BK for example. Sometimes If I get a whopper it tastes fine and everything on the burger is placed to where it won't fall off. Then I'll go to a different BK and it'll be utter dogshit. Sometimes I go to the good location and it'll be bad. Just depends on who's working.

Great review. Spot on. I had this item today(non-spicy) after the lunch rush here in Burlington WI so I know it was fresh. Very small, w/o the sause=you've got nothing, would give it a 5.8 because if its in the 6's I would try it again. Keep em coming :)
