The people of the Promise = all believers of Jesus Christ.

Believing Gentiles have not replaced Israel, they have been grafted in/adopted. An adopted child does not replace the natural child. Being called Israel has to do with believing on the promise, not being of flesh. _Romans 9:6 But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For they are not all Israel who are descended from Israel; 7 nor are they all children because they are Abraham’s descendants, but: “through Isaac your descendants will be named.” 8 That is, it is not the children of the flesh who are children of God, but the children of the promise are regarded as descendants._ This applies to all, not just Hebrews.

When God promised to scatter/regather Jews, He meant ancient Jews in the old covenant. And that's exactly what happened. He scattered them via the Captivities and after 70 years regathered them, thus 100% fulfilling all of those promises made by the prophets. In a similar way, God continued to regather Jews under the Great Shepherd Jesus as He brought them into His fold (Eze 34:23 fulfilled in the regathering of Ezra, Nehemiah and Esther) and then in John 10:14-16 Jesus says He will not only regather Jews, but also Gentiles ("other sheep not of this fold.") It all works perfectly if you just believe what the Bible says and stop adding to it.

@@imago9059 Romans Chapter 11: In its New Covenant context... There is no Plan B of salvation outside of the New Covenant Church in this passage. Plan A is found in verses 23 and 24. In Romans 1:16 Paul said the Gospel was taken "first" to the Jews. This time period can be found in Matt. 10:5-7, and Acts 10:36-38, and Gal. 1:14-18. Many try to claim God never gave the Jews a chance to accept Christ, so there must be some Plan B of salvation before or during the Second Coming of Christ. Romans 1:16 proves they are wrong, since Paul said the Gospel went "first" to the Jews. Many ignore the fact that Peter addressed the crowd as "men of Judea", and as "men of Israel", and as "all the house of Israel" on the Day of Pentecost, when about 3,000 Israelites accepted the New Covenant fulfilled in blood at Calvary. The Gentiles were not grafted in until several years later. This passage proves Paul was right about the Gospel being taken "first" to the Jews. Were all of the Israelites "partially" hardened in Romans 11, or were part hardened and another part were not hardened? The answer is found in the "remnant" of Romans 11:5. Paul reveals two different groups of Israelites in Romans 9:6-8. There is an Israel of the promise, and an Israel of the flesh. This is part of the context of Romans 11. Paul speaks about the "remnant" of Israel in Romans 9:27. This is also part of the context of Romans 11. Paul starts Romans 11 with two different groups of Israelites. In verse one Paul reveals he is still an Israelite, even after his conversion. Then Paul refers to two different groups of Israelites during the time of Elijah. There were the Baal worshippers, and there was the faithful "remnant". In verse five Paul says there is also a faithful "remnant" of Israelites during his time. This must be the Israelites who have accepted Christ, as on the Day of Pentecost. Paul uses the two olive trees as a symbol of the New Covenant Church made up of believing Israelites, and believing Gentiles grafted together into the same tree. The unbelieving Israelites have been broken off but can be grafted back in through faith in Christ in verses 23-24. Verse 26 is the problem for many modern Christians. What does the verse actually say, and how is it changed by many in the modern Church. I have heard two of our nations famous preachers say the following. "And then all Israel will be saved..." I have heard another say the following. "And all Israel will be saved..." What does God's Word, recorded by the Apostle Paul actually say? Rom 11:26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: The English word "so" is translated from the Greek word "houto", which is an adverb of manner, instead of an adverb of timing. Some have changed the word from "so" to "then", in order to change the meaning of the verse. How will all of the "remnant" of Israel from Romans 9:27 be saved? The answer is found in the verses that precede verse 26 and are found below. Rom 11:23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. Rom 11:24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree? Paul quoted from the OT in referring to the Deliverer coming out of Sion to pay for sin. Did this happen at Calvary, or will Jesus die again for His people in the future? Rom 11:27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. Verse 28 can only be understood by looking at how Paul started the passage. He started with two different groups of Israelites and he ends the passage in the same way. There are two different groups of "they" in verse 28. One group of "they" reject Christ and are the enemies of God, and another group of "they" are the election which accept Christ through hearing the Gospel and faith. Rom 11:28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. Based on Luke 21:24b-28, the times of the Gentiles comes to fullness at the Second Coming of Christ. This agrees with what Paul said in Romans 1:16 about the Gospel going “first” to the Jews. .

Paul, for THREE CHAPTERS, hammers it home (Romans 9, 10 and 11) that God is NOT finished with Israel! For anyone to think so, hasn't done their homework, in essence. The rise of Replacement Theology is a consequence of rejecting Pre-Millennialism, which is clearly laid out for us in the Biblical text. Again, Romans 9-11 is a CLEAR REFUTATION of Replacement Theology. Paul answers the errors by writing to the Christians in Rome. He writes in Romans 9:4-5 that to the Israelis alone: 4 … belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the Law, the worship, and the promises. 5 To the Israelis belong the patriarchs, and from them, the Messiah descended, who is God over all, the one who is forever blessed. Amen. In the postCrucifixion world of the first century, A.D., the Apostle Paul reminds us that God’s plan for Israel has never been abandoned. Paul informs us in Romans 9:6-8: 6 Now it is not as though the word of God has failed. For not all Israelis truly belong to Israel, 7 and not all of Abraham’s descendants are his true descendants. On the contrary, “It is through Isaac that descendants will be named for you.” 8 That is, it is not merely the children born through natural descent who were regarded as God’s children, but it is the children born through the promise who were regarded as descendants. His comments in Romans 9:7 that "not all of Abraham's descendants are his true descendants" serve as a reminder that there is more to being Jewish than merely being a descendant of Abraham. It will be this truth that forms the basis for the salvation of the non-Jews to whom Paul directed the majority of his evangelistic efforts. Paul also reminds us that God is righteous to take this posture with respect to belief in him. In Romans 9:14-16, he writes: 14 What can we say, then? God is not unrighteous, is he? Of course not! 15 For he says to Moses, "I will be merciful to the person I want to be merciful to, and I will be kind to the person I want to be kind to." 16 Therefore, God’s choice does not depend on a person’s will or effort, but on God himself, who shows mercy. God’s willingness to base salvation on the requirement to believe stands opposed to being related to Abraham. In Romans 9:23-26, the Apostle Paul asks the following not-so-rhetorical question: Can't he also reveal his glorious riches to the objects of his mercy that he has prepared ahead of time for glory- including us, whom he also called, not only from the Jews but from the gentiles as well? As the Scripture says in Hosea, “Those who are not my people I will call my people, and the one who was not loved I will call my loved one. In the very place where it was told them, ‘You are not my people,’ they will be called children of the living God.”

@Derrick Tyson Paul also hammers home in Romans 1-3 that simply being born as a Jew doesn't save you, in fact Jews who knew the law and oracles of God in the first century Roman world were castigated by Paul for knowing the law, teaching it to Gentiles, and not keeping it themselves. (Rom 2:1). If you claim Pre-Millennialism is clearly laid out in the Bible, I would love to see where. Romans 9-11 shows that there were Jews of Paul's day that had rejected Jesus as Christ, and thus they were broken off the olive tree of God's blessing. Dispensationalists try to say the entire nation of Israel was cut off. Nonsense. There were still branches left on the tree, because Gentiles were grafted in AMONG them (Rom 11:17 ). What Paul is saying is that the death and resurrection of Jesus was Israel's national salvation plan and God still yearned for Jews to come into the plan. Paul himself was heartbroken over his fellow Jews that had rejected Jesus (Rom 9:1-5, Rom 10:1). Paul even says that IF these Jews do not "remain in unbelief", God will put them back in. Derrick, why did Paul word it that way? Rom 11:23 And they also, ***if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in***: for God is able to graff them in again. Rom 11:23 clearly and explicitly states that any Jews of Paul's day were to repent and change their minds about Jesus, and accept Him as Christ, they would be saved. Grafted back into the tree with their Jewish brothers (and new Gentile brothers) who had already accepted Jesus. Romans 11 says nothing - zero - about any "national plan" for ethnic Jews to be saved in a different manner, sometime in the distant future, after being beaten and slaughtered by God for 7 years!

The term, "Replacement theology" is clearly a Red Herring as the Church (the body of Christ) is clearly the "Mt. Zion" of prophecy (see Heb. 12:22-23) "But you are come unto Mt Zion . . the HEAVENLY Jerusalem . . the the general assembly and CHURCH of the Firstborn . ." To the extent a Jew after-the-flesh thinks himself anything by virtue of his own flesh, he sadly errs.

Paul, a Jew was telling this to both Jewish and Gentile believers. Seems you make the mistake of making the "you" Gentiles in Heb. 12:22-23. Hebrews is an epistle especially written to the Jewish Christians. Most of it contains things Gentiles wouldn't even understand at the time.

I really appreciate Dr. Brown's insights as usual. But he himself says here that "a remnant of Israel/an Israel within Israel" is saved; doesn't a "remnant," by very definition, mean a "portion", or "not all"? That is to say, even within the tradition of the Jewish law, it is only those Jews who are faithful to God and his law who are not condemned, correct? If "all Jews are saved" automatically, then why were many of them destroyed in the desert due to unfaithfulness? Is not a covenant a two-way street? Is not faith the end-all-be-all? Of course I could be wrong here, but when I read Paul's words that the Jews have an advantage due to their reception of the actual words of God, I take that to mean not that the physical Jews are automatically saved, but they were appointed by God to maintain his word until all who are faithful (both in their nation and in others) throughout all time could be justified through pure grace. They have an advantage in the sense that God used them as the vessel through which he would demonstrate and declare his eternal purpose for all of his faithful. Also, which part of God's promise to Abraham explicitly says that all physical Jews are automatically saved in an eternal sense due simply to heritage? Wasn't the promise simply that Abraham's descendants would "be a great nation" and also that "all nations would be blessed through him?" The nation of Israel was indeed made great, and it was through their physical lineage that the Messiah came and thereby all nations can be blessed through him. Of course all Jews who believe in Jesus are saved and so there is no favoritism, but does "be made a great nation" really imply that every single member of the blood line is eternally saved, or was it more of a statement that the nation of Israel was the foundation upon which spiritual Israel would be planted?

Cody Reitsma Amen! In Romans 9 Paul goes to great lengths to show that the true “Israel” of God have always been the “faithful”, the “believers”. Even within the Hebrew nation there have always been two Israels: those according to the flesh (literal, through genealogy) and those according to the promise (believers in God’s promise to save). Ishmael and Issac were BOTH descendants of Abraham, yet the promised Messiah would come through Isaac. Why? Because God said so. Ishmael represents trusting in one’s works and Isaac represents trusting in God’s Grace. The OT promises made to Israel were ALWAYS and ONLY directed to the faithful, not to the entire nation. So those who were “scattered” were backslidden believers. Those regathered are also backslidden believers. Those believers existed within a nation made up of both faithful and unfaithful. It is nothing to God which literal genealogy a person may claim; He is no respecter of persons. “If he be Christ’s then are he Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise” Gal 3:29. “For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.” Romans 2:28, 29. Christians are Jews, “Israel” in the true meaning of those names. Jacob’s parents gave him his name. But God gave him the name Israel. So, Israel is a “spiritual name” that God applies wherever He chooses. He applies it to unbelieving Jews, believing Jews, believing Gentiles.....and even Jesus! In Matthew 2:15 an OT quote is revealed to be a prophecy about Christ. Yet, the original prophecy calls God’s son “Israel”! This is all important to know in order to correctly interpret Romans 9-11.

Who is the New Covenant promised to in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and Hebrews 8:6-13? Will modern Orthodox Jews ever be saved outside of the New Covenant Church?

The remnant Jewish believers in Galatians 6:16 .... are part of the church. The entire "replacement theology" argument is a STRAWMAN. People don't like the term because it isn't TRUE. We could make the same argument against you....that you REPLACE Jesus and His work on the cross with the Jews and their own method of salvation.

If the church replaced Israel, then why isn’t the church subject to the same curses of Deuteronomy 28:68 just like scattered Israelites??????

Because the Law is for sinners , and made for sinners , we are all guilty ....the law was put in place to show us whats sin was , with out the Law we would not know what sin was. The Law will never go away , It is still here and we are to obey it and not sin , but we are saved from the Law because Jesus fulfilled the Law for us...is that to say now we can sin ? Never! We cannot live in sin...we are saved through the grace of Jesus Christ from the Law. If you do not accept Jesus Christ you are still under the Law and subject to the Law's curses....Hope that makes sense.

Lord Jesus said: Mt 21:43 Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people producing its fruits. I think this speaks for itself.. the Church has been the people bearing the fruits for the Kingdom of God, 'replacing' Israel's ROLE! This has been true for almost 2000 years. On the other hand, God's dealing with Israel is His own business, not our, Gentile believers', business, let alone saying that we are now them!

If he says the people have been "switched", so its "replacement " theology,then he must believe that the very people who were scattered must be the ones who are regathered. But they cant cuz their dead. So he says its ethnic Jews of the future. So even he believes it's a "switch". Therefore based on his own logic and definitions, he's a "replacement" theology person as well.

Amen to that! Paul, HIMSELF, hammers home for three chapters in the Book of Romans, that God is NOT finished with Israel (Romans 9-11). In fact, the whole purpose of the Tribulation Period is where God goes back to dealing with Israel once again--the Church is not mentioned in Revelation after Chapter 4, verse 1, which speaks for itself. A deep, detailed, intense study of who the '24 Elders' represent will also give one insight and understanding of The Church and Israel, because it's evident and conspicuous enough that the 24 Elders represent The Church (The Body of Christ).

They will be regathered but they don’t get a separate fate, we are all apart of the same tree and grafted in. One in the same because Israel failed God we were grafted in and get the same rewards now

To deny that the "true Israel" will be saved dispite their unbelief is to call God a liar and deny the scriptures. Jeremiah 31: 31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: 32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the LORD: 33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. 34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. 35 Thus saith the LORD, which giveth the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name: 36 If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. 37 Thus saith the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the LORD. Romans 11: 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in. 26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: 27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins. 28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes. 29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. 30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: 31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy. 32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all. Revelation 7: 2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. 4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel. 5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand. 6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand. 7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand. 8 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand. Revelation 14: 1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.

Ryan Hooper What is Israel?
@jamesthelesser69757 жыл бұрын
Ryan Hooper The scripture speaks of the Natural branch (Israel) and the wild Olive which was grafted in (fellow believers). Romans 11: 1 I say then, *Hath God cast away his people? God forbid*. For I also am an *Israelite*, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. 2 *God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew*. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying, 3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life. 4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal. 5 Even so then at this present time also *there is a remnant according to the election of grace*. 6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work. 7 *What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded* 8(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day. 9 And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them: 10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway. 11 I say then, *Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid*: but rather through their fall *salvation is come unto the Gentiles*, for to provoke them to jealousy. 12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; *how much more their fulness?* 13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office: 14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them. 15 *For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?* 16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches. 17 *And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;* 18 *Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.* 19 *Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.* 20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear: 21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee. 22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off. 23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again. 24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree? 25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, *until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.* 26 And *so all Israel shall be saved*: as it is written, *There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:* 27 For *this is my covenant unto them*, when I shall take away their sins. 28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers' sakes.* 29For the gifts and calling of God are *without repentance*. 30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief: 31 *Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.* 32 For *God* hath concluded *them all in unbelief*, that he might have mercy upon all. Revelation 14: 1 And I looked, and, lo, a *Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand*, having his Father's name written in their foreheads. (Romans 11: 26) Revelation 7: 1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree. 2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea, 3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads. 4 And I heard *the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.* 5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. 9 After this *I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;* 10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb. The 144,000 represent the remnant of Israel and the innumerable multitude represents believers throughout the ages.
@jamesthelesser69757 жыл бұрын
Ryan Hooper Why do you consider Paul's letters as separate? It perfectly harmonises with the rest of scripture. Also why would a distinction be made in Revelation between the 144,000 of Israel and the innumerable multitude?
@jamesthelesser69757 жыл бұрын
Ryan Hooper I do agree and put the teachings of Jesus above any other scripture and though Paul's teachings may seem contrary I believe there is a harmony in it that needs to be studied along with other scripture to understand. Salvation is by the grace of God through faith in Christ but that goes with bearing good fruit it's because we believe we will follow in obedience. Those who do not follow in love and obedience prove that they don't truly believe.

Paul curses them that don't love JESUS in 1 Cor 16:22 . If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema(CURSED) Maranatha. The Jews don't love JESUS how can he bless them with grace in Gal 6:16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. The rule is Jesus is my all and circumcision MEANS NOTHING AS IT'S A NEW CREATION. Them that walk according to that principle is blessed and mercy and they ARE THE ISRAEL OF GOD.

@declinatiohonesta76958 жыл бұрын
+Anonymouslives It's been proven genetically that many Southern Europeans (Spanish, Italian, Portuguese etc.) and Arabs have some Jewish blood. But beyond that it's really just speculation. There is no reason to believe that Japanese or Angolan people (for example) have any Jewish blood, because Jews never lived there. Nor is there hard evidence for it.

We must start with Abraham .. Abraham was Not a Physical Jew but a Chaldean, Abraham was a Gentile.. Abraham was called by God to serve God .Abraham put the Faith that God gives every man into God and it was counted to him as righteousness in short Abraham was saved by the same salvation we are today Faith Alone ,Grace Alone in Christ Alone .. As testified to by Christ himself " Abraham saw my Day and was Glad" and continued with " Before Abraham was I AM" Abraham was saved by the Only path to Salvation Christ ..Even the Sacrificing of Isaac was a representation of God sacrificing his only begotten son for Abraham.. It is Clear that *Abraham was a Christian* saved by Faith Alone Grace Alone Christ Alone pre-crucifixion . The Blessings and Covenant given to Abraham was given to a Christian.. Not a Jew..

In Jeremiah 31 God said He would make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah. So when Jesus took the kingdom from the unbelieving Jews he gave the kingdom to believing Jews (Matthew 21:43 - this transition period was from 30 AD to 70 AD). The only way for us Gentiles to be saved is the same for the Jews to be saved = trust in the Messiah, Jesus, to save us from our sins. So the believing Gentiles are wild olive branches being grafted into the people of Israel and Judah who are trusting in Jesus. All unbelieving Jews and unbelieving Gentiles are not connected to the root. Only believers in Jesus are connected to the olive tree of Israel and Judah (the church/assembly/ekklesia of God). This means the Israel of God from the Old Testament continues on forever in the New Testament, but in the new covenant all of its members know God. No one has to teach their neighbor to know God like they had to do under the Mosaic covenant. =========================== By the way, the word for church (ekklesia in Greek) in the New Testament is the same word to describe Israel in the Septuagint (Greek translation of the Old Testament). Numbers 14 : 5 "Then Moses and Aaron fell facedown in front of the whole Israelite ASSEMBLY gathered there." Deuteronomy 31 : 30 "And Moses recited the words of this song from beginning to end in the hearing of the whole ASSEMBLY of Israel" Psalms 22 : 22 "I will declare your name to my people; in the ASSEMBLY I will praise you." Matthew 16 : 18 "And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my CHURCH, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it." Acts 8 : 3 "But Saul began to destroy the CHURCH. Going from house to house, he dragged off both men and women and put them in prison." Colossians 1 : 24 "Now I rejoice in what I am suffering for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ’s afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the CHURCH."

Was Abram a Jew? Was Abraham a Jew? The promise to Abram and his seed(descendants) found in Genesis 13:14-16 which is to number “the dust of the earth “ Genesis 15:5 Abram seed to as the number the stars if one could number them Genesis 17:1-4 God tells Abram His covenant is with Abram and Abram will be the father of MANY nations. No mention of Sarai, yet. Genesis 17:5-6 Nations AND kings shall come out of the man now called Abraham. The land of Canaan for a possession. Genesis 17 introduced circumcision as the sign of the covenant. Every male born, purchased, and or dwelled amongst Abraham household vs. 10-14 and vs. 23-27 Abraham also circumcised Ishmael. God spoke to the son(seed) through Sarai now to be known as Sarah would bring Isaac Genesis 17:19 God will have a covenant established with Isaac and his seed after him However, there is yet the covenant with Abraham that includes all of his seed Genesis 17:20-27 Genesis 25:1-4 Abraham takes another wife Keturah and she bare sons(seed) as well of Abraham NOne of the aforementioned persons in the scriptures are referred to as JEWS but are partakers of the promises of God. Exodus 19:3-6 Moses upon Sinai and God speaks to Moses what he should convey to the House of Jacob AND to the children of Israel. Mixed multitude left Egypt remember. God’s intended purpose for this great mixture of peoples was given to Moses to deliver to the people. KINGDOM OF PRIESTS A HOLY NATION UNTO GOD. What are the duties of the priests? Moses was told to sanctify ALL the people vs. 10-15 of Ex. 19 . Mixed people as ALL are God’s people. Jacob adopted 2 of Joseph’s Egyptian son’s, a multitude of scattering, conquest, intermarriage, etc detailed throughout our historical prophetic instruction book from God, it seems with the express intended purpose of preventing the worship of any created Nation over another. Who is Jewish? Is it determined by blood (good luck guessing that), geographic location, circumcised, tradition, faith, etc. Only God will know who would have dna the can be traceable back through any of the many lines of Abram and Abraham. These are all matters of the FLESH. Does the flesh inherit the kingdom? Are we not to be of the SPIRIT? Discussions and debates over the definition for replacement etc is yet another snare to divide the people’s of God and is baseless.
