Guys for god sake its totally unfair to compare the Daytona 660 with 675 its like comparing an R7 with R6. My question is if other brands like honda yamaha Suzuki release models like CBR650R , R7 , GSX8R why is it that the Daytona 660 alone gets picked on because of its name ?

That's because the original Daytona 675R left behind a powerful legacy challenging even liter class bikes. It was truly one of its kind. So an update will surely be judged.
