All Americans should hold John Roberts accountable for his actions against them and their right to vote. What is being said here is unethical acts by a Supreme Court Justice John Roberts.

The US Congress ultimately has the authority to hold Supreme Court justices accountable; the people need to elect senators _and_ representatives who will put court ethics above partisan power.

When I heard Ronald Reagan say in his 1981 Inaugural Address that our government isn't the solution to America's problems, it WAS the problem, I worried we would end up with a Supreme Court hostile to Democracy and the Common Good. I've been watching this zig-zag downward for 43 years, and it's no where near done yet. 🇺🇲🥺

Big AMEN to that. Now it's THE government...not OUR government. Folks throw up their hands and treat government workers like they aren't our neighbors and family members. They are. WE run this country. That language was corrosive and Reagan and then W ( sure we can waterboard folks) Bush led us directly to where we are now. Thanks so much for the comment. Quite insightful.

Until we establish uniform federal standards for how states conduct elections that elect leaders to represent them in federal offices, we will continue to see these state dirty tricks to disenfranchise segments of the electorate. You want to send representatives to D.C. to represent your state at the federal level, you must play by federal rules to elect them. This is not unreasonable because this affects ALL of us no matter what state you live in.

seriously ? it can't - I do not understand why people did not realize this in 2016 . It is a complicated subject- honestly Ruth Bader Ginsberg bares plenty of responsibility but still how did people not realize how important that this was - I sure did - but honestly I underestimated HOW off the hook this federalist society/ Opus Dei group was willing to go - I never dreamed that they would be as blatantly corrupt / in broad daylight

Back in '94 I was a newly married, stay at home, first time mom, when a friend asked me if I would like to work from home with her for a powerful GOP congressman. I was a practicing Catholic who had decided to be a Republican because I wanted to "protect marriage" and wanted a GOP congress so interest rates would go down. That was my whole, laughable, philosophy. I worked for that congressman for 4 or so years, and by the time I was done I was scared to death of the evangelicals and a "liberal". He is not wrong Glad I stumbled over this because I'm pretty sure I got swept up into this stuff, briefly and feel fortunate that I exited the pipeline before it turned me into a Trump supporter.

The white men on the Court preside over 8 of the 13 U.S. circuits/districts: Roberts currently personally presides over 3, Kavanaugh over 2, Alito over 2, and Gorsuch over one. The African American man and the 4 women preside over 1 circuit each. It is high time the next Democratic president and Congress expand the Court to 13 so each Justice presides over 1 district, just like when the Court was expanded to 9 Justices once we had 9 districts.

Great work and news video! Let's all check our voting status BEFORE the election! I did just that yesterday and my absentee ballot is being mailed (my choice). There are deadlines in mid-September, so contact your state voting office early. It may be an extra step ... but you won't be devastated by being turned away on Election Day. 😁

If he said this, I didn't hear it but one of the reasons I believe the court has overreached is because Congress is failing to legislate. There's just a giant vacuum in the 3 branches and there's essentially only 2 now, heck, Congress can't even fund the government anymore. Just a thought.
