@LetsKeepDemocracyАй бұрын
I'm a Democrat and a former U.S. Army officer. Sadly, the Democrats have utterly failed to explain to voters WHY we SHOULD WANT TO support Ukraine and WHAT HAS NATO DONE FOR US! Ukraine (with military and financial help from the U.S. and many other countries) is valiantly fighting against the MUCH BIGGER bully, Russia. Russia waged an unprovoked attack on Ukraine 2 years ago. If Russia defeats Ukraine, Russia will be empowered to attack the (even smaller than Ukraine) countries beyond Ukraine. Those countries WERE PART of the old Soviet Union and Russian dictator Putin wants them back. BUT those small countries are part of NATO, and by treaty, the U.S. is duty-bound to send troops if any of our NATO allies are attacked. SO the FACT is that Ukraine is valiantly fighting Russian with weapons from us, SO THAT OUR TROOPS WILL NOT have to travel to fight against Russia to protect our small NATO Allies! Here is why NATO matters so much: After 116,000 Americans died in WWI and just 25 years later, 400,000 Americans died in WWII (1941-45), the U.S. was a founding member of NATO (the North Atlantic Treaty Organization) in 1947. NATO was formed with the mission of preventing another World War. Over the 77 years since its formation, NATO has achieved that objective!

I hate when people say, 'PA is particularly important for Kamala Harris.' There are only two candidates with a chance of winning. If it's important to one candidate, then it is exactly the same importance to the other. If Harris needs PA to win, then Trump needs PA to win equally.
@capdyn735Ай бұрын
That's why I appreciated when people were calling it the likely tipping point state. That covers its importance to both parties.

I no longer see Kornacki as anything but a poll reader/numbers cruncher (which is good!) but also a ratings booster for MSNBC...so...it is in their BEST INTEREST to say this race is neck and neck.

Between Dan Pfeiffer and BTC the brain definitely gets a workout. For extra bonus, throw in a debate session featuring Destiny or Medhi Hassan..now the grey matter is really in for a treat 😂😂😂.

I think that’s just Dan’s normal tempo. You can slow down the video by adjusting playback speed in the gear icon.

@ I typically listen in my car not on KZbin. I know Dan gets into rapid fire mode. I’m saying he can communicate his awesome thoughts more effectively if he takes a breath periodically. Things I’m sure he would council those he serves to do. I’m from NY and even I’M saying it’s just too fast at times. But saying it with love. Again, I’m a fan.

@brandonm949Ай бұрын
@@ReplicatorsReformed Atlas's rating is based on only 24 polls, and they're looking really Trumpy this cycle. I don't trust 'em. I'm good with Emerson though. Looking at the high quality pollsters and state-specific pollsters, it looks like Harris will take WI + MI, Trump will take AZ + GA + NC, and PA and NV are the true toss-ups.

I loved having early in person this time. I don’t remember it ever being a thing before. I know there’s chatter about making Election Day a national holiday, but I think the almost 4 weekends of early in person voting is a good option. Especially for people who don’t work the proverbial 9 to 5. I did mail in last time, but definitely liked going in person. However, the mail in allows me more time to research the local candidates and measures that aren’t nationally available or known.

I avoid MSNBC, but I do watch Steve Kornacki clips as he explains elections. He's so knowledge and delivers facts, not just his opinion or what he thinks people want to hear. Sometimes, it's hard to listen when I'm busy being outraged that anyone can vote for Trump, but if we can't listen to the truth and would rather live in a bubble, we're just (or nearly) as bad as those we criticize. Anyway, thanks for bringing on Steve, and let's vote blue up and down the ticket.
