If you go into a classroom to teach students and you treat non-white students differently where you think it's okay if they don't use proper grammar and don't help them to learn the rules of grammar, you are the racist. You are holding them to a lower standard and assuming they are unable to speak or write in a grammatically correct fashion. It's bull and wrong. There are many fabulous non-white writers out there as well as orators, doctors, lawyers, etc. Your non-white students are just as capable of learning proper English. I'm a teacher in a place where standard English is not the norm (it is Scots). I have no problem in differentiating between the two. My students know that the way they speak is rich and valued, but that, in order to pass their *English* exams, they will need to use Standard [Scottish] English. It has nothing to do with ethnicity. It's about widely effective communication and my duty to make sure they have skill in that.

They do not have DID, not diagnosed at least. They are claiming to have it probably because someone suggested it to them but I do have it, I’ve been disabled for it my whole life. I have never called myself a “system” and never even considered living in parts. My doctors have been working on integration from the moment I was diagnosed. None of them talk about integration. They fully intend to live “as a system” That’s not DID, that’s mental illness. DID is a disorder. Sitting in your suffering and doing nothing about it is mental illness.
