The Soviet Union and Yugoslavia had some good times under communism and only fell mostly due to internal politics and mismanagment. And thousands of deaths is not unique only to socialist/communist nations. Plenty of capitalist nations that had brutal dictators that murdered many innocents. You can be rich like Hasan under socialism. Probably not a billionaire but a millionaire, Socialism does not equal communism. A lot of Americans have been tricked by people like Reagen into believing they are no different.
