I've never been a fan of shitting on this line. I've never seen "stand-by" used as an aggressive phrase. Imagine if BLM had stood back and stood by, instead of anything burning or being looted, they just showed up. Ready to go, but not acting. That shows unity, power, organizational structure, and drive at all levels. Now, do i think the proud boys are capable of following this order? Not a chance. But to say the phrase is an issue is an issue with me. 😅

Imagine labeling someone with a negative term that only makes sense in the context of specific ethic backrounds... but it's somehow not a racial/ethnic slur.
@ayomri19147 күн бұрын
True, I like to call these parogatives "derivative racial slurs". These forms of racial slurs are not created by using a race as a basis for the slur but a certain context. Some examples are Gusano for Cubans, Terrorist for Arabs or practioners of Islam and Zionist (if used as a generalisation of all jews). All of these do not target an attribute inherent to the race or ethnicity but an act or behaviour that's been pinned onto them by stereotype. Other racial slurs like the K-word, N-word or G-word are insults that do not need a stereotypical behaviour to reinforce the insult, no this vein of racial insults use the very race as the insult. These types I'd like to call "pure racial slurs" as they're not derived from any (stereotypical) behaviour or attribute. The pure racial slurs are IMO the worse variety as there is no way to rebuke them, a jew can claim that they don't support Israël and thus can not be considered a zionist, an Arab can rebuke by claiming not to be a terrorist and a Cuban that isn't a supporter of the Bautista regime and just fled the country for better living conditions cannot be called a gusano. However one cannot rebuke an insult based on his very race. How can an African or African-American rebuke the N-word?, a South-East Asian the G-word? Or a Jew the K-word? That's why I believe the pure insults are the worst. I know it's kinda weird to type out an entire paragraph on a ridiculous subject like types of racial slurs but considering how much conflict it causes I think it's worthy of discussion. Thanks for coming to my Ted talk

@ayomri19147 күн бұрын
@@platosghost6916 EXACTLY. It's a look into how one can create an insult for an entire subset of a population. The method we see more prevalent these days are the derivative ones as the pure ones are rudimentary words of the past. What has changed to cause this shift? Again I know it's ridiculous but a change in language can maybe be used to observe a shift in behaviour.

Anyone else think it's a little bit suspicious that Ethan speaks out about one of Hasan's Brigade pushing him too far, and then Hasan and his brigade are like "yeah but what about Destiny's brigade and how they treat you"? Even if they're right (not normally in the comments so I wouldn't know either way), that being the response while still defending the brigader F says it all... they're literally just deflecting, not reflecting at all and continuing on with business. That's just toxic, or even abusive behaviour in a relationship, depending on the context.
@TheWhisperingPenis6 күн бұрын
Hasans a Narcissist. His entire persona is deflecting. When he was called out for using racial slurs he literally just pivoted to why its not as bad as using the N word. He didn't reflect on "maybe" just not being a garbage person would be better. He had to pivot to an oppression hierarchy for one reason and one reason only, allowing himself to look bad would damage his extremely big ego. Narcissists can't handle criticism, they see themselves as gods.

Native Americans basically realized that when European invaders were coming into their lands they had two options resist and die fighting or integrate with European society. There were very few tribes that thought fighting the Europeans was a good idea (look up the evolution of the Ghost Dance within Native American populations; Basically, a blending of Native / Christian religions that said "fight and die to see your family again" or "love and eventually die to see your family again". Basically, there should be a few lessons learned here. 1. Palestine literally cannot defend itself from Israel. They will never win even w/o Israel receiving foreign support. They spent the past 80 years actually developing technologies rather than declaring war over and over again. 2. When Palestine becomes the aggressor attacking civilians and pretending that "all civilians are the military", they lose the case. When Native Americans targeted random American settlements, all it did was embolden and gave justification to destroy Native populations. 3. A two State solution is basically only possible if the rhetoric is turned down. Example: From the River to sea and the constant barrage of rockets only keeps the war chugging along (see 1 and 2). The Palestinian population is being manipulated by people like Hasan for their own benefit, but it is very much an anti-Palestinian position. They're using the Palestinians to continue some kind of religious-historical war with no danger to themselves. Now isn't the time to debate land rights. Now is the time to come up with a long term peace plan. Leave the 1000s of years of hostility behind. It's irrelevant.
@haphapp72826 күн бұрын
“They're using the Palestinians to continue some kind of religious-historical war with no danger to themselves” is a great way of putting it. The calls for intensification/continuation of this conflict is going to directly kill more people while they get to boost their own sense of morality.

"see, unlike Hasan, I don't clean up my discord, I let the groipers fester!" Does blud really think this is a flex?

He doesn't have to hide it cause it's mostly jokes. Hasan literally said he can't bring ethan up on stream cause he's scared what chat will say lol

@@bookerdewitt6346 tbh I really liked that joke when they called frogan a fat brown poop cow and said that they would love to r word Hassan, that was a real knee slapper!

@inventor4279 I said most, obviously there's crazy people in every community like hasan's orbiters saying they wanted to unalive destiny. We're you offended by that? I'm betting you thought it was based
@inventor42793 күн бұрын
@@bookerdewitt6346 that was on destiny's main server, by people who have not been banned, this does not happen in Hasans discord, they get rightfully banned for being mentally ill weirdos, you're just coping. We unlike y'all, don't spend our entire lives thinking about other streamers, be normal, go outside, worry about real issues, not some guy you just don't agree with politically buying a house and complaining about his job

@@inventor4279 I don't care about any private home purchases but I typically don't like illiberal anti-✡️s so don't worry, the feeling is mutual. We dislike y'all just as much as we dislike the groypers you constantly pipeline to with Hasan's propaganda (TikTok & Twitter hoaxes linked to him by random groypers that he uses just to own the DGG libs)✌️

destiny seems to have one of the big problems most right wingers seem to have, he doesn’t think he is/want to be bigoted in the ways he lists, yet he can’t see why he’s been attracting/agreeing with more and more people that very obviously are.
