Cows are amazing. I did a little reading on why Hindus are protective of cows (NOT worshiped like gods - as you said, they are just considered sacred) and apparently it's because cows are basically universally good - they're sweet to people, they provide milk, they're vegetarian (don't kill other animals), they're not aggressive. So to be violent to them is just especially cruel. The other thing I read is, as milk producers, they also symbolize motherhood, so violence towards them is reminiscent of violence towards women and/or matricide.

Now, I know that lots of folks have already commented on this throughout all of the clips/videos posted everywhere from Hasan’s visit, but I just _had_ to say something about it too! lol. It’s absolutely WILD to me just how giddy/adorable Hasan was throughout the whole tour of Alveus. Not because I didn’t think Hasan was capable of such feelings/demeanor, but because we’re so used to watching him in a political climate where he has to constantly be on the defensive. Plus, dude’s just straight up freaking HUGE. lol. Seeing him this way though was _super_ entertaining/fun! 10/10.
