Bro I have a history teacher that is extremely dark humored and every time he makes a joke it’s extremely dark and it exposes the whole class for being sadistic. He made a joke about how cars back then used to be extremely dangerous and how they used to have hammocks for babies in the back of the car and how they used to wrap the seat belt around the babies neck and chest, and he just mimicked a woman’s voice and a baby crying and the mom stepping on the breaks of the car and then he made a cracking sound and a flying away baby sound expressing the baby flying out the window and then he deadass mimicked a woman’s voice saying “Johnny oh no” it was hilarious!

Kinda bad take but I guess I can see where Hasan is coming from. From my experience, I've had instances where I've found people unattractive upon first impressions, but as I continue to have encounters with them which then lead to conversations and then to friendship at times, I do end up catching feelings for them because "wow! they're really great and I kinda wanna be more than just friends." It happens more often the other way around where I find someone attractive and then they end up being a shit person, but I don't think finding them unattractive and then falling for them once you get to know them is impossible.

Yeah, I also think part of that is people who you find kind and worth having in your life become more familiar to you and you start to notice things about them even physically that you either didn’t notice before, just never focused on enough to appreciate, or are just now appreciating from a new perspective. Like, I always hear people say their partners have the most beautiful eyes, but how many people actually have eyes that aren’t beautiful if you take the time to look into them and appreciate them? Or it’s like listening to music in the store that you just think of as nice background music and you maybe even think it’s a bit meh, but if you take time focussing on the music and paying attention to the lyrics, the emotion in the voice, the instruments, etc, then that same song could become your favourite.

About the physical attraction thing. I think I'm a rare case. I met my fiancé through text alone.
