i like to compare political ideologies to elder scrolls factions. house hlaalu, for example, are liberals, while telvanni would be considered conservative, dres would be fascist, redoran and indoril a theocracy. the empire could be labeled a monarchy but at certain times in history it could be labeled anything from a communist state, to liberal, to even totalitarian. the stormcloaks are anarchists, the thalmor are fascist totalitarians, and the fighters guild, dark brotherhood, and mages guild are all capitalist. the morag tong are liberal, where the camonna tong are conservative. the thieves guild would be anarcho socialists.

They have a whole genetic breeding project going which aims to produce a form of "super human" and Paul is the result of that. So Paul (and his mother who is a Bene Gesserit and trained him from childhood) uses Fremen religion to become their promised Messiah and leads them on a galactic Jihad. To add insult to injury the Fremen before Paul came about were actually completely isolated from the rest of humanity and lived in a sort of "classless" society which had no place for concepts such as nobility (Fremen = Free men). That was my shortest answer that still makes some sense without going into too many details
