Stop-Motion Transformation of Hasbro MPM-14 Movie Masterpiece Bonecrusher. Nicely done! Now they just have Brawl left to do from the first movie. This is based on the Buffalo MRAP from General Dynamics. MRAPs were very much in the news when the first movie came out on account of the Iraq shenanigans, but now a bunch have been sold off to local police departments for our “safety”.

If you want to follow along, I recommend skipping to the speed run and using your , and . keyboard keys to advance by single frames. Every step of the transformation is documented in the frames of the video, in what I consider to be the best sequence. With minimal rubbing and minimal parts-parking.

Easily my favorite Decepticon from the original movie, and when I saw this video appear in my feed (and thus inform me that there was, in fact, a Masterpiece Bonecrusher), I went and ordered the figure with zero hesitation. First Masterpiece figure I've ever bought, here's hoping it lives up to the name!

I pretty much finished by Bayformers 2007 Collection. I have all the Autobots and Decepticons except MPM Brawl which they will release eventually.. A lot of the older MPMs are Ridiculously Expensive Now. I just had my KO Optimus Plastic Rot and Arm fell Off, got another Official One as Backup. I would love to get into G1 MPM Collection but that is a Huge Money-Sink. I just collect those with the Studio Series. I do not like the new Movie Designs tho..

It looks like an excellent transformation and I love how clean both modes are, but It drives me crazy how all the MPMs (except blackout) seem to get kibble shafted towards the undercarriage. Still worth picking up to recreate the showdown with Optimus, though. I wonder if that company that made the MP scale Teletraan-1 will make a split-in-half tour bus.

Awesome figure and awesome video. I also love a figure where you can transform the lower half mostly independently of the top half. Just curious, did you remove the grabber arm out of convenience for shooting?

What I shoot is how I do it with or without the camera. Taking the arm off is the sane approach.

Apart from hating the Bayverse designs its the top half of a truck slammed onto a complete mess like Starscream was half a plan stuck on a box. Unimpressed by the model, love your videos.

Also, lots of hollow parts. It's not a MP anymore if you ask me, but more a souped up Studio Series or something. (still gonna get it though, being a completionist and all... lol )

@@Faxie83 I feel your description is apt, nothing about this says masterpiece, minimal paint application if any and cheap looking plastic which doesnt match across the figure. Still with Transformer collecting these days we are spoiled for choice what with the 3rd party stuff and even Hastak produce a good amount of stuff for all tastes.

They are trying to market these for the retail market. So a few things make it at bit less fancy: 1) Child safety standards. 2) Keeping it under a certain price point for retail. 3) General cheapening or "shrinkflation" in quality we see across all retail figures. It's decent enough.
