Hope they introduce the clone shadow trooper in season 2, the full black armor with some gray spots and red visor just looks so sweet, this one is just dark gray with green visor, it does not look bad though. still neat we have a chance to get more clone variants introduced to canon through the bad batch series, will be a while until the clones get phased out for human stormtroopers.

Not as long as you think, no. These guys are not clones but recruits meant to be the first step showing Palpatine the benefits of enlisted soldiers versus clones, and there are many reasons why Clones had to be phased out.

@@DarthWarhawk Nope, not clones at all. They're the first examples why human recruitment is better than keeping the outdated clones. Think human mercenaries that have tons of combat experience and training as what these squads are made up of.

Wonder what headsculpt they used for this head. Is the the old mood ore the new mold? (New has a human head sculpt underneath, and the helmet is slightly warped, skewed to on side of you look at the back). I’m a bit confused w Hasbro‘s decisions on these things. It looks like they used the torso of the new mold, but the legs of the old mold. Not liking the tiny shoulder pads of the new mold tbh. 😒

Im glad someone else also picked up that nowhere on the box does it signify they are clones, so I am interested in the origin of this new trooper. I still think it's entirely possible they could be clones, but it just seems weird to have a soldier who isn't a clone wear clone armor.
