That is a cool vintage microwave! Wood grain finish and VFD dipslay tubes looks a lot better than the newer lcd displays. I would imagine that transformer doesn't like 50 hz very well as they're running at saturation even at 60 hz. Seems to heat that water really fast though. There is a bleeder resistor inside the voltage doubler capacitor. It MIGHT still be good. It's smart to discharge it! It should be pointed out that the microwave oven transformer is DEADLY while it's powered up! A lot of KZbin videos on projects you can make, which are fine IF you remove the high voltage wiring from it. To make a spot welder for example. Thanks for showing!

Your troubleshooting skill is definitely classic even though it is hard to understand your accent.(I kept rewinding most sentences you said, because I do not want to miss out important pointers from you!) Would you mind to make a video regarding the building of your microwave HV Capacitor discharges that you used on the mw oven repairs.(2:38) I have viewed most of your mw oven series but couldn't figure out how and what resistors to safely use on your cap discharger. Can you suggest resistors that can be safely used on both very high voltages( about 6000v to discharge home appliances TV inclusive) and low voltages(around 100v), so that I can build one all-purpose cap discharger? Your help is very much appreciated!!!!!!!!!

when the main circuit breaker is less than fuse amperage. that time fuse will not burns, the circuit breaker trips off

SNR A150K 85? Varistor. What are te specs and what did you replace it with? I cant find this part oon Aliexpress. 😢 I also saw it in a Samsung TV Powersupply. Is this a typical Samsung Part maybe?

Why did the shorted Varistor not blow the interal fuse? Had the circuit breaker a lesser current value or is the internal fuse too high? I always check the value of fuses for correctness, users put in strange values, sometimes. 😊

A power surge can damage this cheap part. It saves the rest of the board if you know how to fix it.
