If you nerf Armor items, bruisers will love it BUT what about adc with Crit items? It's openbar for them ! If you nerf armor items, nerf pure stats but you have to buff the passives (randuin for exemple should shred attack speed again for exemple) and that's why it should be m'aide in pre season

@ab ab There's this wonderful thing called "power creep". A single nerf or buff on an item, or even a champion, can cause a cascade of things... Orianna, Syndra, Volibear, ADCs, assassins, tanks... Changes to certain items or champions, can completely change the meta, even if the change wasn't TOWARDS other champions.

Lux never landed her shield on cait at the start of the video. Phantom Dancer shield procced and she healed. The shield blocked Hashs Q and the heal saved her from further damage. Fleet procced as well and Jayce E+Q combo did like nothing to her. He's 3 levels below Cait which probably means he's super far behind.

@@georgelucas8772 Would be nice if they followed a similar DR rule-set as something like WoW, where CCs are grouped into categories, and getting hit by 1/2/3/4 CC's in the same category within 15 seconds of each other get drastically reduced effectiveness going from 100%/50%/25%/0%, respectively. The categories could be simple, such as: stun, snare, knockup, slow, fear, polymorph (though since that pretty much just includes Lulu I'm not sure if that's worth it outside OfA). The magnitude of the slows would remain unaffected, of course, but the duration of all CCs in question would be affected instead. This would do two things for the game. It would lessen the impact of repeated applications of the same kind of CC so a player doesnt feel like they never even get to play the game against high CC comps, and it would incentivize teams to making sure that, if they want high CC comps, to diversify the types of CC they're bringing to the game. This mechanics change would nerf lanes like Morg/Lux bot, if that's a thing people do, or things like mids that take GLP/ghosts and glacial. Alternatively, if Riot thinks, for some reason, that gameplay like that is fine, then you could just remove slows from the DRs. Either way, it would help in pretty much all other cases.

When i play mage i completely can't do anything against tank starting from Spectre's cowl. I can't rush void stuff 1st or 2nd item because then i would be useless for wave clear and every other opponent, like and adc with 1st item last whisper. I can only start to deal with tank once i'm 3-4 items, but adc would be still so much better to deal with tank. Not even mentioning that games end before 3rd-4th items quite often.

The problem isnt mage damage. Most ranged mages are supposed to counter bruisers/tanks, that being the reason mr scales bad on level and items. The issue is when you have a mage champion that can get 3000+ health and heal or shield while dealing way more damage than a tank with the same sustain. Vladimir can get about 700 extra health by builiding ap because of his passive, which makes easy for him to reach 3400+ health with just 2 health items. Meanwhile his abilities can heal more than a thousand and deal about the same amount as damage. Ryze i think that got fixed, as his shield has huge and had too much cc for his damage too. Lux that you said that have too much shield was meant to be a support. They should rework her to be only a mage or a support. Now you cant complain about an ahri one shooting you that had no mr item. She is a mage assassin after all. You wouldnt have complained if a zed made his combo on you and dealt a lot of damage, which he usually do on laning phase.

aha. Casio, teemo, Liss outtanking tanks toplane= the problem is less magic dmg yes (beside void, nerf that shit) but toaly the lack of good mr items, especially aggresive ones. Like you can go sunfire, iceborn, bramble, still continue to fight or even fgiht better. once you go mr you are totaly on def. And abyssal even needs to build on first. On zed first: you have far more armor passivly as mr and he has far less penetration (lethalaty scales to lv 18, magic pen has the full value from the start and void beats all). But you can dodge Zed shurikens, fight back, heal yourself on him. Ahri charm is a long duration cc where you can't react after it hit and can basicly die. And as hash stated:we have here a lostchaper 2 ampahri, with glacial keystone. No electrocute or any dmg keystone. All the dmg, in seconds, from not even 1 finished item. yea....the zed will definetly not kill you with no counterplay, glacial keystone, a caulfields and 2 longswords.

@@Yefen when you hit your whole combo with a champion meant to assassinate and that got his whole combo damage increased by her E it has to deal damage. If she miss her charm she deals way less damage. She dealt about 800 there i think (based on her ap scaling, the level her q, w, e must be and Charm damage boost). Bard actually helped her with an aa and his skillshot (must have been about 200 damage). A Zed with a serrated dirk and one caulfield hammer and one long sword (which is the same as ahri doran ring, lost chapter and two tomes) hitting two q and e without thunderlord would have dealt 690 damage. Counting that serrated dirk discount some armor, both deal about the same damage, but zed can teleport to his shadow give auto attacks and proc passive while ahri would have less damage on her autos.

Cassio and teemo doesnt outtank a tank, they simply have a lot of dps and can make great use of liandry, which is meant to kill tanks, its like saying a kog maw and vayne outtank a tank because of his W. Now lissandra can outtank a tank because of the reatarded keystone that gives non tanks 70 free armor/mr and even deals more base damage then arcane comet.

If we count on ahri the dorans ring, we could count also on zed a dorans blade, shield or corruption potion. And than zed can amx have a caulfields and 2 longswords plus starting item. If we wanna go even more into detail, comparing equal gold would not even be that fair, zed as melee, even if some range spells, should be able to arm and clear the waves slower/worse as ahri. Regarding your liandrys, none of these champs rush liandrys. Teemo maybe, but Casio goes for Tear and still wrecks tanks in the earlygame. The tear will give casio mana and cdr later and scales good casios dmg. meanwhile till a tank has build adaptive, that is far slower as tear (even spectres cost more), the itembuild is faaar worse once spectres is finished, but tot op it: this item will give the tank 0 dmg. So it actualy comes down to alck of good mr items, as any mage, dps or burst, liandrys or not, can bulyl the hell out of tanks and make them alter useless.

imo I would add some buffs to some items. Like most of the tank items aren't doing great in the latest patches so making them stronger will definitely change the meta BUT not like the 5- 6.0 patches where champs are un killable (looking at you Yasuo mains)

It's not buffing mr items what we necessarily need. It's that mage items do too much for less cost than bruiser and ADC items. Literally look at seraphs, when fully stacked you get around 1000-1400 mana+ mana regen+150ap+600ish shield on a 120 second cooldown while also costing 3250 (i think) and having a smoother path build than other classes with their items. That was just one example, they are way too overloaded and just taking off 10% stats off the most problematic mage items would be much healthier to the game. That's just my opinion but you can't deny how overloaded mages as a class are.

A Big problem is, that Riots doesnt want variety at all. They force Champs to build a Certaint Core Item (Gangplank=Triforce, Warwick=Titanic, Akali=Gunblade), second of all, their are few Hybrid Champs to begin with, so many ad Champs that would want to use effects of ap ( or other way around ) are not able to get this effects. And litterally Every Spellblade (Ekko, Fizz, Sylas, Akali) was better with a Tank Build and they "removed" this option litterally. Oh and Adc´s are building only Crit is the easiest Example of this. The Items make us believe, that their is variety, but their isnt much in the first place. I miss Season 2 Crit Talon, or Season 6 AD Evelynn.

Also I feel like ap items can be used by any ap champion which makes riot afraid to nerf ap items because it might hurt champs who use it and arnt broken. Ad items have lethality for Assassins, steraks for bruisars and crit items for adcs and more. There are attack speed items for ads who want to shred tanks (BORK) etc. but ap items there is no “ap assasin” vs “ap bruisar item” “ap mage item”. It’s all the same. Evelyn can go ruinic echos for the assasin-burst potential but so can velkoz. Protobelt gives ap bruisars a decent first item to rush and gives health and some mobility/waveclear but champions like vlad take it. Zonyas gives mid range mages/ap melees a way to survive their all-ins in team fights but shit like azir, ryze, Zoe take it to avoid getting punished with little cost to their dmg. If ad assasins are broken riot can nerf lethality items without hurting other ad champions. The same cannot be said for ap champions.

Scullywag LeScrumpy the problem with damage builds on Warwick are the fact that he’s too squichy (base Hp, hp growth and base armor are quite bad)...DD is a decent item on Warwick since it gives him AD,CDR (WW has fairly long CDs) and life steal for more sustain. However it joins the problem of all dmg builds on him : he‘s too squichy (even with dmg reduction on his E) and he usually dies before he could deal any damage.

Ok he literally is complaining about lux shield when it's phantom dancer that gave caitlyn a shield. If you go through the footage frame by frame, Cait E's backward, dodging the shield, as Hash activated caits PD. Assuming Lux maxed W, it would shield for 110+ 20% AP. Given that the damage number from Hash was 574 + 93, we can see that 2 different shields are used here. The 93 was probably the overshield Cait had beforehand, meaning the new shield was 574 health. Plugging that number into the equation for her shield (assuming it was maxed), we get 574=110+(20% AP). Subtracting 110 from both sides, the equation ends up as: 464= .20 X AP. Dividing by .2 on both sides, lux would have to have 2320 AP, assuming her W hit AT ALL. I'm staying subbed to Sphere 'cause he does good edits, but Hash is a bitch. P.S: There is no possible way that Lux hit cait with the boomerang shield. If she did shield Cait for the 600 health Hash says, it would have been more than 2000 AP, using the formula from above.

I actually think Riot should add an item that existed in Strife. The item was Guardian's Helm and it gave HP, "MR, and a passive: "30% of the Magic Damage you take is healed back in 10 seconds". For League, nerf it from 30% to 15% and there you go, a really good tank anti-mage item that can become an anti-burst mage item.

She fucks up. I got her right where I want her. I cast my third q in my ultimate. I am about to heal a lot and win the fight. She zonyas. I sit there. My ulti runs out. MonkaS. If you think a full damage champion shouldn't be able to kill someone building zero survivability with literally everything they have to throw at them then you're pretty much just saying to remove those champions from the game because they will literally never contribute anything.

Her shields is definitely broken stat wise. At lv5, both the outgoing+return shield will give you a 330 base shield with 60%AP ratio, and it could potentially shield 5 people, giving it a 1650 base + 300%AP ratio shield. Not only that, both last for 3 seconds, so 6 seconds of shield to counter DoT, along with huge base amount to counter burst. Oh and yeah, 10s CD, which will become 6 because everyone goes max CDR on Lux.

Not gonna lie that Lux shield is actually insane. I remember laning against her als jayce. Right where i was about to kill her, she uses her w then her Staff comes Back that get another shield and casts barrier also. That was legitimate 50% of her Missing max health granted as a shield.

MR is harder to come by, and thats by design. I dont have a particular problem with that, tbh. Void Staff is dumb af, though, gotta agree with that. What misses is a good early MR item. Negatron Cloak has very meh items it builds into(in fact, none are really heavy anti-magic damage items for some dumb reason) and Cowl is just too weak as an anti-mr item in general(barring a few exceptions, like dots). Mercs are also not strictly "anti-AP" as are Tabis vs AD - specifically auto attacks. Tenacity is a very general defensive stat. This leads to early MR options being vastly inferior to the amount of early magic damage in the game. I think MR should be hard to come by, but you should have an actual early option vs magic damage that doesnt suck.

you are a lot better than i am but i would still recommend you to look out for when you are fighting, for example at 2:27 you make a great trade losing almost no hp and he lost a lot hp but after that you get greedy and fight him in a huge minion wave losing a lot hp, after that you get ganked and die and for what reason? you are winning so you do not have to fight in bad situations you can still force a fight after you killed a lot of minions. In that situations you lost 7 minions, died and didn't even get the kill. So because of you playing too aggresive you throw your lead away.

warmogs is raw hp, adc will still melt you except it will take one extra second and most mages overkill their targets anyways so it wont make a difference. let's put it into perspective: say a mage combo does a flat 2500dmg before mr. if you have 50mr then you will only take ~1675 dmg. if you get an abyssal mask (55mr) you will take only 1300. that's almost 400hp value and abyssal has 350 base so it would be a total of 750 hp compared to warmog's 800. it's actually pretty close in terms of base stats but if we factor in magic pen and liandry the difference becomes too extreme making abyssal way better. It doesnt mean the item is good, it only means that warmogs is trash. the only exception would be if you are buying knights vow+locket and your champ scales off base hp so i can only think of two champs that go for that instead of abyssal: sej and sion.

How can you say Magic resist items are worse than Armor? Spirit Visage, Abyssal Mask, Adaptive Helmet, all give resistance, HP and CDR while Sunfire Cape, Deadman's Plate, Randuin's Omen, Thornmail, only give resistance and HP Frozen Heart and Iceborn Gauntlet don't give HP, but give Mana which is useless for many champions

I mean the thing is, combo bruisers are just not that good late game. Because everyone gets a phantom dancer, shields, zhonya, resistances and other survivability stuff. Unless you have decent sustain damage, you can't really break through all that and/or you don't even get to apply your damage. That's why jax will always be a monster late game. And that's why he will always outscale shit like Camille and aatrox. My problem is, why does riot want to balance their game on this principle. It seems unfair how just by stalling the game one guy can win or how just by picking champs like renekton and shit one guy gets to stomp you for 20 mins.

Honestly i think conqueror is weak right now. If i want to win in my early i dont go conqueror because it has like no impact at all. Runes like press the attack or grasp of the undying are so strong in the laningphase and will outdamage conqueror until minute 35 but because games usually finish before that conqueror keeps being usless the entire game. Example: aatrox has 14 secs cd on his q early. He gets an q into w into q into aa into q and has procked 1 attack with conqueror to heal him for like 10 hp. If he took grasp he can walk up to the enemy doing the same combo, heal and dmg more plus he gets 5 hp maximum and if he has it up he can punish the enemy with an enhanced basic attack. As son as he has enough cdr however conqueror becomes very strong. He can keep it up for a long time with his low cd and use it properly from now on. For press the attack lok at renekton or camile. (I go with renekton) If renekton uses an empowered w he instandly procs it so his q does more dmg. If you picked conqueror you would have to hit both e‘s or just 1 but an aa too get 1 hit of with conqueror. Have you wver seen an renekton with conqueror oneshotting you at öv 3 from 100% to 0%? I didnt where as press the attack renekton does that with no problem. However as soon as renekton has his spear of shoijin conquer starts to shine. His w can be used many times and so for his other abilities. I know i am a gold player and that for i am an low ell player that has no clue about lol but you must admit it has some kind of truth behind it.

Mages the most overpowered thing right now because they do a tank's job better than a tank and MR does not do nearly enough. The lack of damage stat on MR items is harsh for tanks vs AP, giving them no real way of participating in teamfights aside from stunning. Void Staff and Morrellonomicon make MR next to useless as well. Not to mention that Hextech Protobelt allows mages to have their powerspike much earlier than other roles.

Mr is pretty low in the game rn compared to armor items tho. Also Camille is not that strong, she has super bad matchups in lane and she cannot stay in a fight after her combo because she is way too squishy. She has to back off and try and re engage or hope her team can follow up hard. Also her q true dmg only really fucks squishies. It doesn’t do max hp true damage like fiora/vayne and champs with shields like kaisa can also just tank that burst and fuck her. If you’re a mage chances are Camille can’t even hope to kill you in a team fight because every ap dmg item has at least 300 hp and zonyas can cuck her cuz she needs to get her combo off quickly and back out. Her dmg is high because unlike other bruisars she dosent get as tanky. She is like an assasin/bruisar hybrid. Also I don’t think ahri has mixed dmg. I think it only does ap dmg and can do true damage if her enemy is hit by her e. I could be wrong tho.

@@YemYum dude , I'm a brand support main , and everyone makes this foolish view of brand like he's broken op , brand gets outranged , out cc'ed and his only mobility is a fucking spell that has a 300 second cooldown . . . even his dmg takes too long to be proced , his passive deals 0 dmg until lvl 6 and even then its barely noticeable . . . it doesn't matter if i have dmg when i have no range nor mobility and riot almost forces me to go into melee range to poke or fight . . . brand deals a lot of dmg bcuz 3 of his 4 spells are aoe. . . but thats it . . . the champ is dying and riot chooses to buff the dmg on his E -_- the less dmg dealing and higher mana cost ability in his kit . . . now since brand has no mobility , nor he can insta stun like xeraths E , he gets caught by pretty much everything . . . btw ive died many times to ahri since season 2 xD her q does deal mixed dmg , at least its what riot tells me in death screen
