@@ImotekhtheStormlord-tx2it No reason to start with E, really. Trick even talks about it but sometimes does it himself. The E stun is so short that stance switching costs you all the time you gained. You should only use the E stun to get ahead of someone. So if you bushcamp ambush someone just double Q them. At best you'll have to Q>E>Q if they escape immediately which isn't usually the case.

Well they nerfed hydra a while back and now their increasing the gold because jungles rushed tiamat recently. Literally increased the cost of an item because of a fucking meta that didn’t even include toplaners. If you actually listened to the video or played against a gp you’d realize it doesn’t take skill to play him in laning phase. All gps do is press q and outrade you. They sit on their barrels when you engage. It’s stupid because he plays like a ranged champion while being melee. That doesn’t take any of gps mechanics to do. Just pressing q isn’t skill. If anything that makes him easier than Kled.

While I do understand that Grasp on GP is obnoxious, it's genuinely the only *reliable* keystone on GP. Though I know people will argue that GP can take Kleptomancy, Klepto isn't a reliable keystone and relies wholly on RNG. Klepto is a greedy rune which is only really abusable against tanks. Bruisers can simply build Cloth Armor or even Tabis and force undesired trades. At the moment, GP does need some sort of an early-game due to high mana costs early. Manaflow doesn't immediately fix this problem. It remedies the problem after 1-2 backs. Furthermore, his late-game isn't what it used to be. As to how his late-game has been nerfed, its simply due to the new rune system and crit/itemization changes during season 8 and lack of scaling runes outside of Gathering Storm. Although crit is somewhat more reliable on GP, it comes with *much* less damage and utility than it previously provided. Although GP's late-game isn't weak, it's definitely a far cry from what it used to be in comparison to previous seasons such as 6 and 7. As such, Gangplank has to either has to dedicate his build towards mid-game with Tri > Youmuu's > Lifeline (Steraks/Maw) and situational items or go Tri > Stormrazor > Zeal > IE > Finish Zeal into Phantom Dancer > Situational in order to get late-game spikes as quickly as possible. Gangplank, at the moment, is just a mediocre champion. His early-game is medicore outside of levels 1-2. High mana costs hold him back from fully abusing it alongside a number of champions with much better early-games than him. He's just simply obnoxious. His mid-game is good due to his powerspikes with Youmuu's and Steraks, but doesn't strive as well late-game due to itemization, and while he can build solely for late-game, it does fall somewhat short of other late-game champions.

A similar argument would be Frozen Mallet vs Entropy (if anyone played old 3v3s). One gives high health low damage, other gives low health high damage. Damage on Entropy wasn't enough and no champion could utilise it effectively therefore it got removed.

Titanic isnt useless but it is when compared to steraks. Like steraks gives the same hp, usually more base damage, and a big ass shield. I do agree to make titanic more appealing is to add an on hit effect maybe not %hp because i think there's way too much of that in the game already, idk like take away the aoe on autos because tanks wont get many autos off in fights (tanks are the class the item is suppose to appeal to)and add a different aoe that marks targets for team mates to auto for a bit of extra damage.

This game, that already has way too much damage (and I'm pretty sure Hashinshin himself has said that), needs to buff an item so tanks do even more damage. And I love that he basically admits he just wants Titanic buffed (and doesn't want Sterak's nerfed) so he can abuse op items on bruisers. Also, Jax still builds Titanic, both top and jungle. Camille, J4, Rek'sai, Shen, Sion, Warwick; All have fairly high build rates for Titanic. Just because someone has no sense of adaptation in their build and always builds the same three items first on any given champion and always goes full damage (like builds a youmuus on Kled when he just dies instantly and could get more health with, I don't know, a titanic hydra maybe) until they have fed away 10 kills or are too far ahead to be stopped doesn't make an item underpowered or never built.

Hashinshin has gotten way more enjoyable to watch, but is there anything that he doesn't complain about in Top-Lane? Complain about Kennen, he breaks Top-Lane. Complain about Viktor and Cass, they break Top-Lane. Complain about Jax, he breaks Top-Lane. Complain about Fiora, she doesn't break Top-Lane but is annoying anyways. Complain about Graso, it breaks Top-Lane. Complain about Riven, she breaks Top-Lane. Complain about Akali, she breaks Top-Lane. Complain about Urgot, he breaks Top-Lane and Kennen. Everything breaks Top-Lane, apparently. I dunno, coming from a guy that plays fighting games, that's way more variety than most Top-Level Fighting Games have currently. But the fact that people consider "losing" to be a cancerous concept in a game where someone is going to lose seems silly to me. Sure, it's not always fun to be counter-picked, but such is competitive video games. Sometimes people try their best to have all the statistical advantages against you.

@Heartnet but there IS a difference between a champ beating you and a champ beating you and giving you cancer. case and point velkoz and malzahar. if you lose against velkoz what can you say? he hit all his stuff, i should move around more, i died because i failed to dodge q and e and w, maybe i didn't stop his ult or something. vs malzahar: he summoned a bunch of bugs, i dodged his q, he keeps pushing with e, i should try and push- oh wait, he pressed R on me aaaaand i'm either dead or out of lane. i can't dodge his R, i can't dodge e without losing cs, and killing the bugs is close to pointless, to beat him i have to play as lame as possible during lane AKA i got cancer, or play a cheap oneshot champion, AKA kill cancer with cancer.

Hey, it's not the most rewarding job, but someone has to do it, and he's legitimately entertaining when he complains - a bunch of his viewers prob watch just for that. But he also has a constantly increasing flow of material, namely the Riot balance team that's making the game more annoying(unless you're the one playing the annoying champs and he isn't) with each passing patch. Besides, it's never truly bad for an individual to complain about flaws in a system, even if there's barely any, the complaints can light a fire under the balance's team asses and get them to actually do something - we can only dream...

Titanic doesnt scale well enough and costs WAY too much. Another big problem is BC... The cost and all is fine, but the path to it can be painful. I really don't get way they do not add, say, 2 longswords or a pickaxe to the buildpath. BC is very solidly a bruiser item, but the build path gives jackshit for dmg.

If you play something like, say, Kled and build cleaver, you sometimes really feel that distinct power-down of just buying a kindlegem. A, say, Pickaxe added to the buildpath would work well, so the buildpath does not only consist of small buys(like longswords). This would make this more of a choice in the intermediary... "Do I want health+CDR, or do I want dmg?". The buildpath wouldn't exactly get "better" like this, just offer an option some champs should have. Also.... MANY items have really strong build-paths nowadays. That is not a super big aspect of budget. General rule of thumb is: The heaver the item on dmg, the clunkier its buildpath. BC is a mix.

I only use grasp against champions that I know im going to fight a lot like Riven, Darius, Kled or Singed, I like graps against that matchups for the extra damage and heal from grasp, extra damage and heals that I need or else i ll feed against that picls

Uh.... are you actually calling GP op? no... just no, one armor item renders his damage minimal and it gets worse if you manage to keep him from farming properly, You might eat a Q, but chances are that Q is going to the barrel to get some pen on you, kill the barrel and he wastes mana trying to hit you and failing. Or he uses Q to proc grasp which he should be doing. But it comes at the trade off of not getting bonus gold from minions. Also if you buff Titanic Hydra you buff more champions than Jax or Kled, buff it too much and literally every melee will take it and we're back to square one

Just make it so his Q procs the ranged bonus instead of the melee bonus. GP's Q is literally a better Poppy passive except the shield. It's also a free Avarice blade because why not?

GP is one of the few champions I would actually call balanced at this point because he actually requires multiple items and levels to actually do anything. Before TF and level 13 GP might as well be a big minion walking around collecting farm. Also a GP player actually needs to know how to barrel combo effectively to win a game Top GP runs grasp because they absolutely have to because the lane is dominated by champs that rush Tiamat and run straight into you. The fact that Hash lost lane to a fucking GP as Kled then proceeded to complain about grasp sums up Hash pretty well. Nice guy, but awfully mediocre player with an ego
