correct me if im wrong but the nichirin blades can only kill be decapitating because t hey have the suns powers in them right? if so then tanjiro as a demon being immune to the sun shouldnt die from decapitation then as the sun in the blade cant harm him so no demon slayer apart from shinobu would be able to kill him

Do katanas have sun power inside them? First time I hear this so, there is no sun inside katanas, Katanas have breathing styles no sun power And what's special about shinobu? She's a normal hashira she doesn't have the power to kill an undead demon I think you're saying it's because he can make potions that cause damage But I think he can't His katana has only a breathing style like other hashiras Tanjiro cannot be killed because he is immortal and neither the sun nor the red katana penetrate him just by turning him human will his demon powers go away thats all.

Therefore, decapitation by Nichirin Blade is one of the only ways a human can kill a Demon, the other being the use of a Wisteria-poison coated weapon. That's taken from the wiki. That's what I've been using as the basis for this. And yea Shinobu poison wouldn't work unless they got an extremely high dosage into him
