The mark it's called "demon slayer mark" if the Sun Breather which is the father of all breathing was able to awaken his Mark then it should resonate to other demon slayers who are worthy and strong. So that is why fire hashira and sound hashira wasn't able to awaken their marks because tanjiro haven't awaken his first.

I think if more studios were like Kyoani and UFOTABLE there would be a better quality and pacing of shows. Both studios have put effort and time into allowing people working for them to grow into the animators they are, they won't just take a bunch of shows to grow faster and will not overlook the material they currently have. Like Ufotable could've churned out the Genshin anime real quick with some middle of the road animation but they have been working at it slowly while focusing on their current anime specially KNY, like many people I also think their main team has been working on the Infinity Castle for a WHILE now.

Not sure if you were already told this but Demon slayer doesn't actually have superpowers. The breathing techniques are actually just visual effects so there's no "time stopping" powers. The only supers powers in the show are blood demon arts.

I feel that’s manga only. I say that because the anime is not identical, but BASED on the manga. There are corrections in the anime that differ from the manga. I can give you specific page examples as in comparison down to the season, episode, and timestamp. That being said, remember that Ufotable even created a standalone episode for Kyojuro Rengoku that doesn’t exist in the manga. The “fun fact” bs going around that “the effects aren’t real” pertains specifically to the manga. Let those of us that also enjoy the anime live in the “magic” of the illustrations without someone like you coming in, turning off the music, turning on all the lights, and pointing out all the mirrors and wires. I would love to hear the explanation how Rengoku convinced an entire train full of people to all jump up at the same time to lift that train off the tracks since the “effects of his breathing techniques aren’t real.” Now I’m all heated. I’m going to go make some sand by crushing rocks with my hands until I calm down.

@@TBladestorm It's not taking away the 'magic' it's the way the writer intended to symbolically show the human spirit, demons rely on the cheap way to power their blood demon arts which are magic based while Hashira have trained using complex techniques from actual cultural based practices, the visual effects are just that visual effects to underline the potential humans have to train against supernatural forces, it's an exaggerated way to show human determination and spirit it's the same with the anime and each breathing technique is even explained what it would look like without the visual effects and what they really rely on, Mist Breathing for example requiring fast complex strikes that obscures the opponents senses akin to being caught in Mist. ^ That's way better than having the slayers be magical supernaturals fighting other supernaturals, the humans in demon slayer are an exaggerated showcase of those themes. Water Breathing doesn't create water.

About the masters illness, I’m about a million percent sure it explains it later in this season, so if you wanna wait for it to explain stop now but it doesn’t have anything to do with the story. Like knowing about the masters illness will not spoil anything about the story to come. And the master has already kinda explained it in the earlier seasons just not in as much detail. but in a nutshell it’s an illness that effects the men in his family, cuz his family was cursed for having brought such an evil into the world(muzan) and the men in his family would die young until they started marrying the daughters of a certain family(some kind of priest or monk family) after they started doing that the men in the family lived a bit longer. The master believes that if they destroy muzan the curse will be lifted from his family.
