I guess I'll be *that* lame person and say I'm from your hometown & high school- just older & much less cool than u. :) I've been thinking about taking a hypothetical "cigarette break" over at Belmar or New Hope the past couple weeks and have my own reasons for avoiding Street/Trevose, so I enjoyed listening to this. I've thought about "rewriting" some of my own past memories "over" spots that I associate with some people in my past- Belmar actually is one of them since I haven't escaped there since my late teens with some people who have caused mild trauma for me (which is why I want to take a solo trip out, to reclaim it), but this whole area is starting to feel desolate. So on top of kinda rewriting my associations, I'm now also just letting go for good and not expecting sudden meaning out of what is now meaningless. Don't look back, and it will only get better :') If it helps, bucks (especially lower bucks) is as a whole a metaphorical smelly bag of dirty laundry, as are many of our hometown "zeros," like the person you are singing about! I like our covered bridges though, too! Also- if you're referring to Penndel Burger King, RIP (says a longtime vegetarian lol). But again, might make it easier to move on now that it's gone. Keep writing and great job.

Romans 5:8 BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT JESUS CHRIST DIED FOR YOUR SINS, WAS BURIED, AND THAT GOD RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD. This is trusting with all of your heart that Jesus Christ is who he said he was. He saves us from sin and hell and brings us into a relationship with him. We become God's children. We are saved from hell, eternal death. "For whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13 CALL UPON THE NAME OF THE LORD. Every single person who ever lived since Adam will bend their knee and confess with their mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord, the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings. Read the Bible, Walk with the Lord and give your life to Him!
