I just wanted to say the boys played amazing and although rash from Harry, the bloke has been absolutely phenomenal for the tags, week in week out, head up mate. Just to clarify Hornchurch have a budget that is more than some league 2 clubs like Crewe Alexandra - "Their manager earns more than £100,000, their players are full-time and their wage bill is estimated to be £1.2million a year" - Crewe Alexandras is about 800k and they top 7 in league 2. They must have players on £1000 + p/w

Who told you that rubbish? At Hornchurch the fans are currently financially helping out a player who is injured and so can't work in his practical job and would otherwise struggle. We also helped the club fund coaches for the players and overnight stays in our FA trophy run a few years ago. All that would suggest our players are part-time and our club is just about coping financially but with another excellent management team. Please visit our website for accurate information.

I can take a defeat here. Hornchurch are a good side and any team will find it hard to take points off them. Losing a man probably sealed our fate, since we were competing pretty well beforehand. I'd have to add that both Luke and Pedro were great in this game (along with Max). The way both were fighting for the ball and creating chances was good to see. Don't be too disheartened boys. 10 games unbeaten before this means we know we can do well at this level and we couldn't realistically expect to go too long on that streak in this league. Onto the next one... #upthetags

In an interview with Hastag recently they mentioned about money laundering and dodgy money in the non-league. I’m curious whether this was one of the teams they were talking about. I can imagine the first question they asked other owners in the league is how they can afford some of the players etc they have. And honestly there just seems to be a gulf in quality here. Saw the full match and even though Hashtag Utd played well and tried to match them and were a player down, so the score flattered Hornchurch you could see that they’ll probably do well in National League South. 1:35 Nice to see my idea was heard about the women’s team.

I feel like this game was very winnable. Although Hornchuch seems to be (by far) the best team in the league, hashtag was going toe to toe with them before the red card. This is arguably the best team Hasthtag has had in terms of raw talent and experience. We should be pushing to win the league instead of pushing for a play-off spot. I believe in the tags!!!!!!!!!

Thought the defence let them down this game. Really poor in the first half not winning there challenges missing a couple of headers, silly fouls, giving away the ball. Wooldrich wasn’t up to his usual performances. Same with Anderson. Tip of the iceburg haysom getting the red.

As a long time fan, Harry needs to get it together. He has started to have these nonsense interactions over the past few months. it DOES need to be addressed because he's a KEY in the spine of this team. He hasn't had the same composure from start to finish of a match. I first noticed it around the time of TST, but now it seems like something is naggin him. He never lashed out, never kicked out, the most you'd see is he'd step in to seperate people in drama. We don't need Jap Stamm Or Nemanja Vidic back there. Big issue I note for the club is how much they get babied by management, there's always an excuse for them, always a 'oh no we are never the issue we're just really unlucky trust us'. Harry needs to be expected to do an absolute shitload better than that, and lads like Tom and Matty can't be missing such easing contests like they were all game.

Tbf to Haysom he's already head down and mid stride when the whistle is called, and it's max 2 seconds after the whistle is blown that he hits it, issue is he does absolutely thunder it so the whistle probably did alter the decision. Do understand his frustration as the ref was very card happy against us, but they were excellent at winding us up and playing in to the refs hands! Like Seb says, its those fine margins! Up the tags

If the ref is going to be by the book on things like Harry kicking away the ball, or Tommo's shirt tug on a counter/transition opportunity, I don't have the slightest clue how you simultaneously allow so much contact on every single header and every single play where the offensive player has their back to the ball. For both teams. If it's consistently by the book, or consistently more open, fair enough, and maybe the highlights don't show the perfect glimpse of officiating on a given day, but it looked poor from my POV. Really disappointing to see the quality of officiating at this level at times, but I guess it trickles down from the FA and PGMOLs example.

Come on. I love Hashtag, but it’s not like Harry kicked the ball to the side and not far, he literally fully cleared the ball. Like I think he could’ve escaped without the yellow had it not been so obvious and had the ball not landed on the other side of the field. The ref was good, allowing play to go on and bringing things back to the foul for us. We lost and it sucks, but the yellows were okay, and we can’t blame the refereeing, since they were all over us even with 11 men. I hate fans who complain after a loss, like if we’d have won, we wouldn’t be talking about refereeing

Hornchurch clearly looked like the better team, which is on par with their performance all year, and i would expect more calls to go towards them given they looked more aggressive and quicker in transition. I also explicitly said both teams were not getting calls. My point was that the referee was not calling everything consistently, just certain parts of the rulebook. If you look at the sheer amount of contact on every header, and the sheer amount of shirt pulls anytime someone was back to the defender, and compare it to some of the other calls made, the referee wasnt consistent across the board with how he approached the game and managed the flow. As a player, those are the most frustrating games because the line is arbitrary and seemingly random between what parts of the rulebook the official feels like enforcing and what parts they do not.

Ref was absolutely fine today, not a single decision given that shouldn't have been. He was even incredibly generous with the advantage call paid to the Tags too. Gotta look at the officiating without the rose tinted glasses.
