I have had diagnosed obsessive compulsive disorder for the last 11 years and it's interesting to look around at all the people taking more precautions because that has basically been half my life and all I can think is "you're still doing it wrong"🤣. To the point of Trott sanitizing his pizza box I would so be doing that too if it weren't a massive step in the wrong direction for me. Life will have to go on after this and if I start sanitizing pizza boxes now I may never stop 😅

Ditto! I normally spend so much time thinking about what I touch and in what order, if I can get somewhere to wash my hands when I go out, and generally seeing dirt and filth where others don't. And now all of a sudden, people have been forced to think like I do. My other half is finally really seeing how exhausting my life is on a daily basis. Oops, sorry for rambling. Just comforting to hear from someone in a similar situation. Stay safe.

The number of confirmed cases is almost completely irrelevant, as it depends hugely on actual testing. If your country/state is only testing people who have severe symptoms, there will likely be order of magnitude more people with Covid than the confirmed ones. If your country/state is aggressively testing as many as they can, the numbers might be a little more accurate.

You can add another 10 million onto those job numbers here in the US, easily. All the most populous states are experiencing horrific wait times for unemployment applications/site access and most of the smaller states are in similar positions. We'll be adding millions per day for at least the next week or two, if not more. Just like our infection numbers, the bottleneck to their rise isn't the actual impact rate, it's our total lack of ability to count/process/test everybody.

Im convinced I had Corona in December. Was beyond sick for 3 weeks straight, slept 35 hours at one stage I was so tired. My father also got a persistent cough at this time and one day couldn't breath. He ended up in ICU for 2 weeks and hospital 5 weeks with "the flu". Hes been permanently on oxygen since then. Id say millions have already been infected and its been around since last year. They need to bring out a test for antibodies to check if you have already had it.
