As someone who has worked in the Broadmead Cex Store (I was actually there 2016 when you guys came in to film your CEX skit! Great time meeting you!) I can 100% confirm that there are a lot of people who steal from the local HMV and WHSmith and just walk over to Cex to sell. Additionally when I worked in the WHSmith store a year later I had a thief bump into me as he ran around a corner stuffing CDs he was stealing up his coat... probably to go to CEX to sell. Security really have a tough time trying to stop this XD

The toenail discussion, man that takes me back, I dropped a drawer on my toe a few years ago and had to go to the doctors to get the dead nail removed because a new nail started growing beneath the dead nail and the dead nail was not falling off by itself Edit: also can we just appreciate the hive mind moment at 15:25, also from what I understand some of the reproductive organs are formed before like the ovaries for example and if the baby has a Y chromosome the ovaries become the testicles but I may be wrong.

1:05:50 On the subject of if we all had Vaginas in the womb No not exactly there's some sort of default sex organ we all have that, if the Y chromosome is present then causes it to grow in to a penis by the release of testosterone (among other hormones) Interestingly there is a remote village in the Dominican Republic where people are born female and during puberty their vagina becomes a penis. This is because of a genetic mutation, which causes a deficiency in an enzyme required to produce the testosterone that triggers the growth of a penis in the womb. So then later on in puberty when there is a boost of testosterone (I think again a specific type of testosterone) they grow a penis. This is all shit i'm remembering from A level bio which was a while a go so maybe not fully accurate. Just thought it was interesting to add that, it is possible for a vagina to grow in to a penis. If you want to look it up I think there's a BBC documentary on it, just type in "Guevedoces" or "penis at 12" cause that's what I remembered them calling it in the documentary and had to google to get that technical name.

Eye colour is not controlled by a single gene with mendel inheritance. It's polygenetic and without strict dominance, and at least 14 specific genes are involved such that you can't make any judgement of eye colour expectations from just the phenotype of the parents.

Nip thing: I think it’s because society teaches women to not draw a mans sexual interest, instead of teaching men to control sexual urges. Therefore women have to cover up or deal with men behaving inappropriately, while men usually don’t have to consider if women will react inappropriately to the way they are dressed. Sorry for the unprovoked feminism dudes :/
@zephyrmop5 жыл бұрын
Completely disagree there friend. Women react inappropriately alot more than you would think, and it's portrayed a lot more in media (like adverts) as it's seen as OK for a woman to oggle a topless man. Plus most men can control their sexual urges, it's only a minority who resort to any kind of unwanted advances.
@Seyshellois5 жыл бұрын
zephyrmop I agree that most men I meet are nice people who can control themselves,and that there are a lot of inappropriate women, but if we are talking about why womens nipples are scandalous - its because of a culture that goes back hundreds of years, not about what you and i personally exprerience. I think it’s because of religion has forced women to dress modestly, because it would make it easier for men to live a life that would get them into heaven. Yes, this isn’t as prevalent in our society today, but it still has lasting effects on our culture. Like how women are asked how they were dressed if they go to court for rape, and that teenagers showing a bare shoulder in school is “distracting” for male students
@zephyrmop5 жыл бұрын
@@Seyshellois Yea I think you may be right about religion. Even showing too much arm/leg caused outrage 100 years ago. I think your two points you make is a good example of why nipples are still taboo in this age. I'm pointing my finger at the media stirring up the current 'worry' culture. E.g. A stupid person makes a rule about teenagers showing a shoulder being distracting, media makes story about the incident, the public see the story and react, media make another story about the public outcry, another stupid person implements the same rule, and so on. So TLDR, I can't see the nipple being normalised any time soon.

the idea for the Star Wars trillogy was ALWAYS to have THREE different directors. With JJ doing the first film. The only reason he came back for the third was because the 2nd movie was so awful and had zero continuity.
