Got some gorgeous morphs too. she tilts her head around and wobbles. She eats fine once she’s got the head in her mouth. She gets confused and often tags her own tail end. It’s really sad to see. Ikr and he says "not too excited about that one" when it's not a rare snake. They're all living creatures and some eggs can be duds, which can't be helped, but he should appreciate that the snakes that hatch are alive in the first place. Honestly he's probably just doing it for the money and doesn't genuinely care about them.

But if you grow a huge one, it’s an accomplishment and your going to get excited. The two pineapples taste the same but the rarity of a big one is exciting. @@TheMarky26 I think it has to do with a pattern or a few from what I've heard, but I know that either way it passes on and its normally easy to tell which is a spider and which isnt
@itspeepistime4 жыл бұрын
@@TheMarky26 yes the spider morph is a pattern morph so it changes the pattern of the snake to what we call the spider morph. The gene that causes that pattern morph is either the same gene as or is heavily correlated with a gene that causes detramental neurological abnormalities. With our current level of knowledge about snake genes we're not sure which it is but we are sure that they are somehow inherently connected
@itspeepistime4 жыл бұрын
@@hivecicle yeah it technically a few morphs because any snake that has an active spider morph gene is gonna have neurological defects. It's actually rather common for people to open up snake eggs that are breed in captivity with Exacto knives, it helps any baby that in the wild may not have had a developed enough egg tooth get out. In the wild, that baby would die, but here we can just open it because it's going to be in captivity for all its life. The problem with what he did, was opening the eggs before anyone from the clutch even started pipping, and cutting the holes open too wide. (both of which are a HUGE no-no for most breeders.) *edit: also he was being extremely rough with the knife. if you watch Snake Discovery, Emily barely pushes the knife in, and if she wants a better look, Emily waits for the baby to come out on its own, or she uses tweezers to open it up just a small bit.

Watching him help those snakes out of their eggs is a major cringe-fest. He's not supposed to do that with eggs! You shouldn't under any circumstances help open the eggs of animals because their ability to survive and grow is entirely contingent on their ability to get out of their own eggs at birth. It boils down to "survival of the fittest" in an animal kingdom where if they fail to get out of their eggs, they can't survive. If someone helps them out of their eggs, their growth is stunted and they become the "weakest" link in the family and in some cases, dead weight for the family. Those snakes will never be able to survive in the wildness and are going to be heavily dependent now.
@sidnyg2615 жыл бұрын
Luminatrix FanFiction I think he knows more about snakes then you do, genius 😂
@kalabell125 жыл бұрын
Luminatrix FanFiction The point is that they’re not going to be out in the wild. Just because an animal has an underdeveloped egg tooth or some other *minor* reason it can’t get out on its own doesn’t mean it has to be a death sentence, because they’re going to be living in captivity. I’d also like to see what sources say that if you cut the egg it negatively effects the animal in the long run? If it isn’t done prematurely and the babies are already healthy and fully developed, it doesn’t harm them in any way.

All these snakes that are kept in tubes most likely will become depressed. They NEED more room and MORE THINGS to keep them interested and not bored. (I’m referring to the adult snakes) (Search yo why you shouldn’t support him and then there should be a video or two about why)
@tsulehisanvhisystem93525 жыл бұрын
If you're talking about the newly hatched babies they're not going to be staying in those tubs for long they'll be set up in a habitat with all the proper things a snake needs. Snake Discovery shows this.

Brian has been breeding snakes for YEARS , and he loves these animals. This is his passion ! I’m confident and trust in him & his decisions. He knows what he is doing !!! When yu cut the eggs open the snake feels pressure & it’s normal reaction is to go to the bottom of the egg. He has NEVER cut a baby snake while egg cutting!!!! Also if he does not cut open the eggs they sometimes die because they can’t pip thru the egg. This is the best choice for the baby snakes survival. So before yu comment questioning Brian’s choices yu should do your research. He takes very great care of each and every animal he has. Snake discovery is another phenomenal snake breeding KZbin channel yu can collect some research from!
