love how every reference to their old MV, it's a better version of it. Like BP domination of the world (Rose on a black and pink globe, where before it was just normal earth). And Jennie's bedazzled tank but 100000% upgraded, Lisa's dump truck that was trash before but now it's luggage and money, Jisoo's raining money when before it was sparks, Rose's blacked out chandelier & expensive car. I feel like shut down's a good girl gone bad/dark/bad bitch vibes compared to the old mv. Like with jennie's tub scene, the makeup and overall vibe for Playing with fire was very pure, innocent, whereas the new ver. is all black. ALSO a bit of tmi, in the korean lyrics for Jisoo's korean verse for "Make it rain", it's actually "green rain is raining" (meaning it's raining money) For Lisa's verse with the dog in korean it's literal translation is "bark, because the leash on your neck is mine". This cb was amazing. Just like "the album" they released a teddy formula single (hylt/pink venom) and then a fresh title track formula free (lovesick girls/shut down). This time the album is more fresh and filled with different genres and shut down quickly became my favorite bp track. About the people shading bp, it wasn't only haters, but blinks too. Many blinks were mad or dissatisfied with their management, artistic freedom and discography and I think thay had all the rights to be mad. There is a fine line to never be crossed tho, hating the girls instead of hating the company.
