They have been together now a long time. I cannot remember exactly but is over 7 years they have been together. They know each other I would imagine better than anyone. And I think that is what makes them so good. They know each others strengths and weakness's and they compliment each other. Where one is weak the others step up where one is strong they cover and protect the others. Their closeness is in my opinion their greatest strength and it is why they have been so successful.

Their talent and charisma is genuine and the revolutionary impact they’ve had on the global music scene is undeniable. On top of that, it’s so clear that these girls are hard-working perfectionists who throw themselves completely into everything they do. Many rappers have bars that feel hollow because they’re exactly that: empty words with no substance behind the curtain. "we dont buy it, we request it" is a reference to the fact that all of them are Global Ambassadors for their respective brands. The dog is actually Lisa's real dog called Love. There is lots of references to their old songs including their individual songs. Eg Lisa's top with Lalisa around the band. The start with Lisa in that walkway that is from Playing with Fire, The Tank which is from DDuu Duu DDuu Du etc etc. The actions of closing the roller doors. is ending that chapter. It is also a big dig at the haters essentially saying you can hate but look at us. We will come back stronger than before. This song is bye to the old Blackpink and here is the new Blackpink... and that is reflected in the ending... they go UP in the lift to a floor which is sterile and empty... signifying a new start a new chapter in their musical career's still to be created. I would love to see your reaction to The Happiest Girl which is one of the new songs on their album.

The apple and inside of the apple in Pink Venom.... so many subtle references. Their whole marketing and production team is on point. I think what Blackpink brings is the uniqueness of each member's vocal/rapping abilities with individual personalities plus unique visual that just comes through on each performance, on each delivery that just makes it work. It's that combination that blows our mind, our ears, our eyes, that hits differently. It is almost primal in experience. Then there is the excellent team of professionals supporting each song production not just the music production, the arrangements but the MV director, the editors, the set creators, the make up artists, the stylist, the choreographers, the dancers, everything comes together to give us our money's worth. That combined creativity is really something. They know their business and they deliver. They don't go cheap on us and so we don't go cheap on them.

These girls may look small & fragile, but they are STRONG AF. They do dangerous stunts for their MV’s, shoot in cold ass water, or crazy hot weather. But they never complain. People who have worked with them, have said that the girls are very involved in everything. They are very professional, can take criticism, are very creative, SUPER respectful, & perfectionists. They will work long into the night, till they feel, everything is perfect. Their producer Teddy, said that sometimes he leaves the recording studio late, but the girls stay there. When he comes back in the morning, the members are still there. It’s really frustrating that just because they are EXTREMELY popular. They are constantly being attacked, & accused of being pretty girls that can’t sing, dance, or have any part in their musics creation. They are just pretty dolls that are handed songs to sing😑. If they only knew how much these girls work their asses off. On top of their music career, they have their fashion career. Their schedules are always packed, but they have never canceled anything, because of exhaustion. They have performed through various injuries, including a severely sprained ankles, exhaustion, shoulder injuries, fevers, painful back injuries, & full blown panic attacks. They respect their fans, & career enough, to always do their best. American artists could NEVER. One little thing they bitch about, & cancel a whole dam concert😑.

The more I listen, the more goosebumps I get. It starts with the classic song “La campanella” as if it says “we are not just a trend. Look, this is Blackpink classic” In this song, a lot of their iconic objects and scenes appear through the MV like diamond tank, chandelier, orange-pinkish sunset in Boombaya etc). But after singing they shut the door down to leave the iconic symbols behind as if saying “yeah, I know these are well known for our songs but these don’t define who we are”. This Album is a start of a new Era for BLACKPINK. You'll notice that the music/songs are different (except the first 2), from their earlier projects. Less to no big beat/style changes. "HAPPIEST GIRL" is something unexpected, Unbelievable vocals from each girl.

What makes it greater is that 100% of the lyrics are true and can be backed up. It’s not overly cocky but just top notch edgy know my worth confidence. They bring it harder than most of these kpop groups male and female imho especially because it’s actually believable haha. They sound amazing, they look amazing, they’re overall refreshing in music! Another great reaction. Ive followed BP since their debut. They are the ones who turned me on to KPOP. They have great charisma and their stage presence is insane. One thing they're lacking is writing their songs. They take part in writing but rarely influence it enough to be credited. But I believe they can write it. Jennie and Lisa not only took part in writing their raps but also wrote their line on the cover of Sure Thing. Rose has been credited before and working hard in writing and producing her songs. Jisoo and Jennie have credited before. Jennie had a notebook full of songs she wrote before she lost it during her training days (writing is part of the YG training program). So if they can write or not is not a question. But they need to be confident enough to release the songs. I think they're too afraid to let the girls write their songs because it's intimidating to post their songs on the most subscribed artist channel on KZbin.

Eric it’s is legit the most amusing thing to watch you just be Floored by the girls and you own it like “dang they got me again” Kyle when you talked about respecting someone’s art that’s legit how we blinks feel about Blackpink. I also have to say that goes for your reactions as well, we can tell you’re not doing it for the views rather then to explore what’s out there and pay true respect to the definition of being an artist whatever that lane is. Never really write things this long but I’m sure I’m not the only BLINK that feels this way.
