I would choose between one of the Japanese Quads for sure !!!

I recently (Oct 2021) changed from a Raptor 700r to a Grizzly. Worth the change. Like you said, you stay clean, and it is MUCH easier on the body. Devil Anse is a cool trail. I have done the ride from Man to Matewan a few times now. I recently put Tusk Trilobites on my Grizzly and they do very well in PA and WV terrain. They have also withstood the HMT pavement quite well.

I couldn't agree more. I did like the sport quad for it's speed and handling and braaapability, but I really enjoy riding the grizzly. It's much more suited to my size and the environment I ride in now. However, that LTZ would have been a blast on some of the lower elevation Colorado trails. The Zillas seem to be doing ok with the pavement too. They are pretty aggressive, but that hasn't caused me any issues on the hard pack or road yet. I'll keep an eye on those Trilobites when these wear out. I know the bear claws are pretty popular.

Now that you've had some ride time how's your Grizzly holding up thanks Shane

I absolutely love it! It's plenty powerful for a big guy like me to have fun with and it's very capable. It feels and looks like it's quality. It might not be as flashy as the Can-Am stuff, but you get the feeling when you sit on it that it's going to last forever even if you ride it like you want to ride it. I absolutely recommend getting one.

I had a 2021 grizzly and absolutely loved it. I'm in the process of getting a 2023. I put the 2r racing tip on it and loved the sound and the fact it opened it up to let the heat get out. What programmer are you using? I'm in 🇨🇦 and I used Monster fuel injection tuning for my sxs and man what an amazing difference.
@ColoradoDualSport2 жыл бұрын
I am very impressed with this quad. I have the EHS Racing tuner on it as well as their AIS delete.
@SuperDave-pe1zw Жыл бұрын
@@ColoradoDualSport it must be an elevation thing. I put on the EHS tuner set to Eric's settings. Put it on my 2021 Grizzly and Kodiak 700. Both turned into instant turds ! I put on lower numbers on all settings but they still ran rich. I had no popping prior to installing the tuners and both quads ran great ! I worked on the settings for 2 weeks and they didn't run good so took them off and run great again. I tried a posting on grizzly central and some guys with older grizzly said it worked good but the newer guys said worthless and they talked to Eric and he said didn't do much on stock grizzly. I did block the AIS and put on a whiskeybent 1.5 45 degree tip and you can feel the difference! Good video 👏

I love thos trails!!! Devil Anse and Buffalo Mtn are my favorite.. I rode a z400 last weekend and I absolutely love that quad.. Better than a 400x in my opinion! Glad you had fun out there! This is the first year in the last 7years I haven't made it out..

That's awesome! Was it a fuel injected LTZ? They are a completely different animal compared to the carbed models. 2009+ are EFI, but they are semi rare, more so the latter years. Maybe we could meet up down there some time and rip some trails. Now that you guys have a Grizzly and hopefully soon a King Quad 750, would be awesome to do a real shoot out on real trails. Something to think about.

Just watched your Rock house video and ended up on this one, nice riding. Looks like a great time, another system we have not been on down there yet. We have done Pocahontas, Indian Ridge and Pinnacle -- loved all three of those and need to check out some other's.

That's pretty much exactly what I'm doing. So far I've done Warrior, Buffalo Mountain, Devil Anse and Rock House. I want to film all of the trail systems then start doing some of the Outlaws.

I was gonna tell Chad about this vid but noticed my DO brother has already commented! We’re looking forward to getting back out and ripping HM as soon as a KQ makes it’s appearance. You’re right though…sport quads are rough out there after a few hours!

Ha killer! And now I can address him by name. Glad you guys found the channel. I've been watching your videos for the last few weeks. That Grizzly review got me amped up for this trip. Can't wait to see the comparison to the KQ 750. I'm sure you already know where my money is though. Haha!

Nice.👍🏻 Here in Southern California, it’s been roasting, we finally had some rain last night. Quad camping sounds cool. I would have to drive quite some way to have a place to ride a quad. The most important question is, does it have a burrito tube? 😘🤣🤣🤣🤣
@ColoradoDualSport2 жыл бұрын
Ha! It does actuality have a water tight burrito tube built in from the factory! I mean what else could you possibly ask for? I do need to get a rear box for better storage, but I had no issues strapping down that tank bag to the front and had everything I needed.
