I can agree with you. Livestreams are too long and inefficient for me to watch with my lackluster internet so i'd rather watch several shorter videos rather then one long one. Case in point: TFSGaming are uploading segments of their Kingdom Hearts 3 streams to their channel even though the full streams are also on YT. Shorter vids are more digestible.

Not sure why but the videos where it’s you guys out doing something I enjoy the most. A bit more vlogs and such would be good, even if you’re not doing anything crazy interesting like the diving video (which was amazing).

I think it's because a lot of the appeal of their most successful stuff is the fact that it's more about them talking than what they're doing. It's more about their personalities, thoughts, and opinions. It's more like a podcast you know? Like, how the UNO and golf videos do so well.

Haven’t watched this all yet but I know what I miss from this channel is continuity. I think why minecraft worked so well was because there was an episodic “feel” to it, like you’d look forward to the next episode because you wonder what happens next whereas with a random GTA video or whatever they are disconnected and you don’t really care about the next gta race map playlist. At least for me, I want to see more content with continuity, I know it might take longer to record/edit but it gives someone something to look forward to. Edit: more minecraft series? Thumbs up from me 👍🏼
@Noedeltas5 жыл бұрын
Agreed. This is why mini series like Raft work so well. However, we have to admit GTA grants the opportunity for a 'podcast'-like video with the usual banter as well as something for your viewing pleasure.
@NicoIsntHere5 жыл бұрын
Yeah I am not sure what they could do gaming wise for growth besides bandwagon games but even then its disingenuous. GTA kinda are like podcasts but when I listen to them it makes me want trials and then I watch trials and makes me want hatchat lol.
@jasonschuler22565 жыл бұрын
@@NicoIsntHere The problem with this is that it's horrible when it comes to attracting new viewers. People aren't going to click on your video if they see that it's the 30th episode in a series, and stats show that even people already subscribed start losing interest in series that go longer than ~40 episodes.

KZbin should have a filter option that means any videos that are not kid friendly can see be viewed and generate revenue for the creators

Videos that aren't kid friendly are automatically categorised as 'teen or over' audience and earn less and are shared less. Nothing you do can change that, bleeping words counts as mature language still and so many words trigger the same effect.

Been with you dudes since the 1.7 trailer. At this point I don't think I'd ever leave/unsub no matter what the style of content becomes. What keeps me coming back is the personalities, and I think a large chunk of your audience would say the same. (For example I really enjoyed the photoshop videos, but maybe those weren't successful?) I really liked this video, getting an insight into your thought process. I think communication is always beneficial. Maybe an idea could be bringing the audience more into the decision-making. I think the fans want to see you grow and reach the holy grail of 1 milly. But now that I think about it that's sort of already been going on. But maybe lean into it more? Every month do one of these mini update videos where you communicate what's working and what isn't? Personally I find it interesting. Another idea I had, which may be a bit cheap, is doing more stuff with Sips. I'm a diehard fan of him too, and your channel is one of the only places I can go to get my dose of Sips. (I'm not in a situation where I can watch streams, etc.) If you guys get a monopoly on KZbin Sips maybe you could grow a bit off his fans? That sounds kinda bad though, haha. I'm probably ignorant to your side of things and these ideas might be bad without me knowing. But yeah I'm a big fan and I really want to see you guys prosper, and for as long as possible. And of course hit 1 milly, if only to say you did it. Frickin good day m80s.
