Yeah he was on mixture of medications that you aren't supposed to drive on. Apparently he just made a stupid mistake, I don't think he consciously made the decision to drive messed up.

A friend of my sister's once went on holiday and left her hamster at our place so my sister could take care of it. It had this multi-level cage which was pretty sweet. It jumped from the highest level to the bottom and broke it's neck, pretty unpleasant.

I had a pet duprasi (basically desert dwelling hamsters with long chubby tails) named Twinkles, I gave him little paper origami presents with seeds in them for christmas and built playgrounds and mazes for him out of those tube kits you can buy, he lived a relatively long life and passed away peacefully at a ripe old age yes, there is no horror in this hamster story

Someone I used to know at school (we were never friends, her mum was just a friend of our dad at the time) used to have hamsters, she kept them in one of those small 1 hamster limit cages and let them breed constantly, so they used to breed and kill each other. She never cleaned out the dead ones in the cage or the cage itself for that matter, she'd just put a new layer of newspaper and sawdust over the bodies. In the end she got bored of them and released the 15 odd living ones in a bush in the woods near her house, then threw the cage into someones garden because she was "disposing of the evidence"

I had a hamster when i was a kid. I brought him outside to play, even though my mother told me not to cause they could get sick and die. He died 2 or 3 weeks later. I always thought I killed it and felt really guilty. It wasnt until years later that I found out hamsters only lived 2 years on average (mine was over two years old), and he probably just died of old age...
