Heads up in case you're ever wondering if you're in Montreal. All the signs will be in French because the separatist language police have basically outlawed English on public signage. If you see French and English on the sign you are most likely in Eastern Canada or Ontario.

One trick if you're in Canada, if the signs are in both English and French its probably anywhere but Quebec, you'll only really see English signs in Quebec if they are significantly smaller than their equivalent French one

I love how people see Canadian flags and always assume Montreal, which is famously in Quebec....
