Fury hit Usyk on the gloves/arms a lot and the commentary made it out like he was hurting Usyk. Just because Fury looked better in this fight some (blind) people think that means he won. Usyk landed WAY more clean punches on Fury and stopped Fury letting his hands go. Very good fight, the right man won CLEARLY, and even the biased commentary admitted Usyk was ahead. DAZN commentary was disgusting. The champ is still the champ, and Fury can now fight AJ and get more millions. Usyk is an example of what a Champion should be, incredible.

I would like Usyk to retire, you don't know what you've got 'til it's gone, and in Usyk, we have a clearly under appreciated World Champion. Nothing left to prove for Usyk, just look at how much smaller he was in the ring against Fury! It's mad how he can close down and dominate fighters so much bigger than him. Fury is an excellent fighter but ludicrously overrated, with a record that is patchy based on the level of people he's been in with. He can clean up more cash at Wembley now fighting AJ in an 'also ran' fight.

Pretty clear Usyk win for me. Not even close on the cards. I listened to the BBC radio commentatary whilst watching the fight. The commentator got very loud and excited by Fury hitting Usyks gloves and not so loud when Usyk landed shots. There's a lot of bias out there. I didn't really mind who won but was just looking at who was doing the better work. In the majority of rounds that was Usyk. Usyk said post fight this fight was easier. I absolutely agree it looks that way. In the first fight Usyk looked very uncomfortable in rounds 4 to 6. Last night Usyk got caught every now and then but never had any period of being uncomfortable or looking like the fight was going Furys way. Both fights though were pretty comfortable wins for Usyk on my cards.

I dunno if this is covered in the video aa I'm not far in but as an aside... I think Dubois getting in Usyk's face right after the fight was pretty disrespectful (I have no doubts Warren told him to do it). Apparently Fury never had to fight anyone as champion cos they don't bring enough money and Fury would beat them anyway. But Usyk apparently has to consistently beat top 10 fighters twice each. Edit: I think it's perilous for Dubois to overlook Parker, anyhow.
@Alex88148Күн бұрын
Watching it live, I had it 6-5 to Usyk with one drawn round - almost identical to AJ’s scorecard (with a few differences). The Compubox punch stats suggest Usyk by 2 rounds. I think overall it was within 1 or 2 rounds, so close, competitive, but I don’t think there’s anyone sensible out there who thought Fury won it. I thought the judges would score it a draw to ‘bank’ this rivalry until after Fury-Joshua, but ultimately the right man one, just the round by round scoring was wrong To sum up the fight, Usyk performed average with a great gameplan, Fury performed well with an average gameplan

Fury's adaptions from the 1st fight: Kept his right hand up to protect his chin. He sat down more on his punches. He was more aggressive. He added more weight including extra cushioning to his gut. He grew a beard to cushion shots to the jaw. He came forward more and tried to hold the centre ring. He stayed focused and didnt showboat. All these changes and he still lost. Lol. Like Hatman i was saying this should have been the result of the first fight and this one was a little closer....and that Fury's only clear round was the 5th.....but I still had it much the same as the judges.

The people claiming this right was close are a disgrace , I only gave fury rounds 1-2, 5, and round 10 I gave a draw , round 9 was close but I gave to Usyk because his punches were cleaner than fury’s , the only clear round fury won was the 5th , so people complaining the score card was to wide is ridiculous
@Alex88148Күн бұрын
It wasn’t an 8-4. The only reason people score it that way is because there’s this stupid stigma against drawn rounds because people are ignorant. If a round is even, it’s even, why do people always have to split hairs? The only legit scoring of this fight is 6-5 Usyk with 1 drawn round or 6-4 Usyk with 2 drawn rounds. Usyk never definitely won more than 6 rounds

The Fury fan boys will be out in force with their delusions ! Sickening. Usyk is an amazing boxer. Fury needs to just go and do pantomime now .

What @hatmanStrikesback said about Fury is spot on to the teeth he lacks the handmad displine it needs to really beat the best and coming at 20 stone should he though he bully his way through Uysk which was never going to happen

Element of bias towards Fury I thought. I ignored them completely. Btw.....Sky's commentary was shite... . blatantly biased towards Fury. It's the last time I'm buying their PPV. February 22nd it will be someone else.

Not a bad argument. What an unbelievable fight it would have been. Exactly the same height, weight, and birthday.

@@ntokozomokhutso3206really? Looks good for an 84 year old.
@ntokozomokhutso32062 күн бұрын
@frankdux5693 yep, 17th January. I don't know about Usyk being 84, though. You'd know better. Also look up the difference between birthday and birth date. I'm sure you're also imagining that Ali is a 220 corpse if you discern my statement that way. Smart guy.

Fury fought well much better than I thought he would no one else could of given usyk that fight he was just a little too precautious should of took more risks especially after the 7th but against a man like usyk it’s understandable to be second best is still a massive achievement as for usyk he’s just a different class

No one else could have given Usyk that fight? 😂 you partridge fanboys are something else. Luke was humiliated over 24 rounds and never looked like hurting Usyk once

Honestly, Fury looked no different to Joshua in this fight. Literally a carbon copy, except AJ pressed a bit harder but was technically inferior, though it balances out either way.

Tyson seems to think he should get a participation award perhaps because he's had so many dubious nods in his career. He has always been a weight bully with all the advantages over his opponents. These advantages really flattered his actually abilities. We all saw what happens when he fights someone as big & heavy as himself (he looks awful) I believe there are many big heavyweights that beat him which is why he avoided them all. Apart from Uysk which was a huge step up for him, he's fought no one of elite level. Welder was always Poor who also fought no one, losing to anyone in the top ten. Steel sharpens steel if you always take the easy route you will never beat the elites. The good news is we don't ever have to hear the BS from Tyson that he's the greatest of all time. He's not even in the top 5 of his era. If he continues to fight & actually fights guys more his size he will lose many more times. I personally don't think he has it in him, think he'll crawl off into the sunset but would love to be proved wrong. Anyone in top 5 near his height weight knocks him out. Prove me wrong fighting man.

@ When Usyk entered the division, he said he wanted 3 men. Joshua, Fury and Wilder. I’d also like to see him avoid the right hand for 12 rounds, it would be intriguing even if Wilder gets completely outclassed
