I moved to Chitown from Newark NJ and I was amazed at the incredible musicians. I was telling a guy here in the ATL about Chicago gospel and he asked why did I think it was so special. This video explains it better than I ever could. Look at all of these young guys aspiring to be like Sharay. You’ve got guys sitting there who will go to make their own mark in gospel music. Growing up in the NYC area we had a gospel scene but it was nothing like this. Chicago has the culture that breeds this type of excellence in gospel music...

It is a tragedy that this video doesn’t remain on the trending page. More people need to hear this.

He is the BEST EVER. I have been playing bass professionally for 15 years and I have never seen that much groovy inspirational performance before. Thanks for existing Sharay Reed

When I was a kid, I'll NEVER forget my dad telling me ALL this Black music, that entertains the world and that so many people around the world want to and try to emulate & copy hails, or can be traced back to the church. So much love & respect for the Tribe of Juda🇺🇸 from the Tribe of Benjamin 🇯🇲 God does love us - but we must do more for him.

Hehe, I always watch this video here and there... Just crazy groove. But the thing that warms my hearth the most is the fact that basically the whole hall appreciates this groove and the public is really encouraging and shwing respect to these guys... You can't find this everywhere man... Respect to all the guys out there that honor us with such grooves!
