@@craffte It's funny because the actor that played Father Jack once said that he really distrusts and dislikes the kind of people that laugh all the time, because they usually never listen, have no sense of humor and more often than not, are a bit dim.
@craffte Жыл бұрын
@@lupo3694 Aww...a lot of that (with the people I have encountered) comes from anxiety. Nervousness causes them to laugh because they are uncomfortable, or shy, or because they just know how people are jerks and laughing a lot puts them at ease so they are not as mean. I get that, though. I think he's right, laughers are not usually good listeners.

I'm always amazed at the amount of stamina Fergus O'Kelly displayed in this episode playing Barty Dunn. It's one of my absolutes favourites of the series.

I don't know if I've had a huge Mandela effect, but please can someone tell me if I've been making this up for years... I could have been almost certain at some point Father Jack shouts "I want to be Elvis!", but I can't find evidence of it anywhere. Maybe I've made it up from the part where he says "I'm Elvis..." but I've been saying the first for years whenever I talk about Father Ted to anyone XD

i can tell you now. black face or other race related acts, when done in good humor does not offend the majority of black people like it offends a noisy handful of white piss ants.
