You're a class act my friend, almost at 200K and there isn't anyone on KZbin who deserves it more! I discovered your channel back in November/December and very quickly your channel became one of my favorites! I say it almost ever video and I'll say it again, I appreciate you making these videos for our entertainment and showing people what trucking looks like when it's done the right way! Hopefully one day I have the privilege of catching up with you somewhere but until then I'll be tuning in every upload... God bless you and the family and keep those wheels movin🙏😎

I could never be a trucker. It's great that you can see all/most of the country, but so many long hours and terrible diet/no exercise would ruin me.
@presy_jay4 ай бұрын
Trucking is not for everyone. It can definitely get lonely out here. As for the diet... Look at me! I'm living proof that trucking is not the problem. The decisions/choices some truckers make is the root of the problem. When I switched from local to long haul (OTR), I was a very solid (athletic) 218 lbs. I was actively working out 5-6 days a week. Here we are, 7.5 years later. I no longer work out, so I don't have the muscle mass I once had, but I currently weigh a very solid 212 lbs. I'm 6' 1" BTW. I have no desire to be less than 200 lbs. The last time I weighed below 200 lbs, I was a 20 year old gym rat desperately trying to bulk up. I switched to OTR, I was determined not to fall into that trap that, unfortunately, a lot truckers fall into. I meal prep, eat healthy, and take care of my body. I'm healthier and in better shape than the average person. I'll be 40 next January, BTW.

I need to say that i like the effort you put in your Thumbnails nowadays. I like the font and the kinda glow effect. Like the old neon signs. Love that! You even tried to match the colors of the signs in the thumbnail (the going downhill 9% Video). That's astetic and eye catching! Keep up the evolution!! Well done, Marv!

YESSIR YES INDEEDY Salute and Respect ALWAYS FAM, another great episode of content and video of Marvelous Marv doing it positive and professional. You're making the GOOD HUMOR run this time, you're definitely correct about how fragile that type of load is and it can go wrong in seconds. Everything looking and sounding good FAM. Glad that you had a nice and smooth trip to your drop off, I hate when you get there and they jerk you around on your appointment time then have you waiting on a phone call. Drivers will mess things up for all that do things correctly. That's why we have to keep positive attitudes and mindsets in the grind game of trucking industry. Keep your wheels turning and making them earnings and be blessed and safe out there on the roads to success in your journey FAM....💯👍🏽💪🏽🤜🏽👀🙏🏾💰💰💰💰💰💰👊🏽💰💰💰💰💰💰🙏🏾👀🤛🏽💪🏽👍🏽💯 LEGGOOOOOOOOOOOOO TEAM MARVELOUS MARV !!!! i would've made that left turn lol. you pull foward slowly and make the traffic coming from the left stop and inch your way out till traffic is clear from the right. only works in a truck tho lol.

Wait. You arrived at the facility with their freight, on time and they don't let you park at the site until a door opens up? A lot of "bad" can happen from the time you leave the site until you come back. Accidents. That's crazy
@presy_jay4 ай бұрын
That's how it is out here. A lot of facilities won't accommodate us prior to delivery. And, once the freight is delivered, we MUST exit the premises. In this case, a few bad apples spoil it for the good ones. The slobs who kept leaving their trash behind are to be blamed.

Do you always shift your truck all 18 or do you sometimes shift it like a 13 I was just wondering cause another KZbinr does it too

@presy_jay4 ай бұрын
Not bad for a hot day/evening. I was able to get down to about -12 by delivery time.
@hoodtrapper164 ай бұрын
So you never hit the -20? Like they most rate cons want on those loads
@presy_jay4 ай бұрын

@@presy_jaymy 2014 carrier X2 on Great Dane box hits -13 on a -10 continuous setpoint. I've been avoiding ice cream coz they always "demand" -20 .... Maybe I should test it?
@presy_jay4 ай бұрын
@@vroor32 does it hit -13 on a summer day or only when it's cool outside? They all will go below set point on continuous if the weather is cool outside. A hot summer day is the true test. But, to haul ice cream, your unit has to be able to be set at -20. That's the set point for all ice cream loads.
