Don't feel too bad Alan about frying the coil. There is a reason why they put erasures on pencils. Watching your video I could almost feel the Spring in the air that you made mention of. What a joy seeing your children right there to help out. You and the Mrs. are raising them well. God Speed - Michael Grant!

I like the new pipe on the 560. Might need ear protection to drive it all day! 😆 Take care!

I have to say I am liking the new straight pipe on the 560!! Done that many times with leaving the key on, never with a high power coil though. Glad that's all it seems to hurt. The kiddos are so enthusiastic about helping, that is amazing!! Another great video of daily routines, I love it, look fwd to more! Thank you for bringing us along!

Thanks Alan, I am doing the electronic ignition in our 560. It's a bummer that happened but a great reminder for me to remember to shut off the key. I'm getting ready to box the distributor and send it off.

More like 6 wheel drive. Your kids are developing a great work ethic you and Jen should be proud!! In a couple years the kids are going to push your brother out of work. When will your brother be able to start his own farm? I like how your farm is so simple but productive.

Alan, just looking for some 2020 views. I thought I noticed a 530 case with a high lift I have not seen, the tractor lately, do you still have it? And one of your shows you had a computer box that regulated the spray pattern do you still use it? And it seems like your core yield for 2020 was a lot higher than 2021 or did I just noticed something else? And I don't see a guy named Johnny is he helping you? Thanks for all your hard work, especially during winter season. Skip, Western PA.
@trinitydairy Жыл бұрын
We still have the 530, the clutch is really weak, so I am just using it to run the wood splitter , until I get it fixed . The box I used on the sprayer is a gps unit, to keep me from overlapping when I spray. Corn yield in 2020 was great! 21 was a dry year and the corn didn't do as well. Johnny has a dairy farm and works full time off the farm, we help each other out when we can. Thanks for watching!

Do y’all sell the hoodies with your farm name on the front? Great to see the kids WANTING to help. I always wanted to help grandpa with morning milking. Would tell him to be sure to wake me up in the morning. Of course he would let me sleep because morning chores started at 4:30 am. The sun shining through the bedroom window would wake me up. I would hurry up and get dressed and run down to the barn but he would be nearly through milking. I would be disappointed he didn’t wake me up. He always claimed he tried but I knew he was letting me sleep. Farm life is a great way to grow up.
