As always Mike I always enjoy a manure spreading video. I can remember those days like it was yesturday.. Cleaning out the ditch with a Jamesway barn cleaner .talk about a crazy job get splashed in the face with manure depending witch way the wind was blowing . Lol 😆 🤣 😂 I can remember taking tractor out first in the field you were going to spread in. Because the snow was that deep you had to make tracks in the field just so you wouldn't get stuck. Thank you mike for this video.

Taken me a few minutes to figure out the location of those fields. Mercer, County Ohio and Jay County Indiana are not the easiest places to figure out landmarks. Always proud to see the local farmers taken care of business no matter what time of the year.

Definitely want a sizeable tractor on those spreaders. Wouldn't take long to cover the acres with the spreading width.

Hey Mike, you don't see many side spreaders like that Kuhn Knight. Do they cost more or preform less or is it just something else? The Artsway end spreader does seem to get a more even spread.

The Kuhn Knight Slingers preform best in semi-solid manure like sand slurry that's too stiff to pump, they can spread pack manure like in the video but are slower than any vertical rear discharge spreader

I don't know the price difference but the side slingers used to be everywhere but the rear discharge spreaders have really changed over the years with the vertical beaters. The side slingers are good for all types solid and liquid but will definitely give a more even spread with more slurry/liquid in my opinion
