That would keep me in Tshirts for a while. Texas looks like such a big place thanks to your camera work. It was interesting for me too. I bet a lot of girls took a big breath when you stood by the bale. Yes, I know you're married with children. Can't wait to see what you have for us in 2024. Have the holiday you deserve, too bad about the drone. Great video. Pax.

Great video - really enjoyed seeing more of your operation in Texas! All my family were and are grass seed and grain farmers in the Willamette Valley near Salem, Oregon. Totally different type of farming - but the same green-yellow paint. :) God Bless you and your family in the New Year. May the Lord cause you to prosper in every area of your lives!

Another great vid! Last load,last bale all the best. Been there,done that

I take it the trailers are made for that purpose , so that the bales don't have to be strapped down . Nice set up and a happy new year to you and yours .
@conleybanman Жыл бұрын
Yup specifically made just for cotton bales. The scales would like it if we would strap them down but we don’t have too

How many different kinds of crops are you able to plant? I'm in central Minnesota, lots of corn for the ethanol plants and soy beans. Sugar beets up in the red river valley, Sunflowers in the Dakotas and wheat in Montana. Hope you have a great year ahead!
@conleybanman Жыл бұрын
We do mainly peanuts and cotton but we had some corn last year as well, all irrigated. A neighbor of ours does carrots and chilis

Great video! Happy New Year! How much is 1 of the bales of cotton worth? Thanks
@conleybanman Жыл бұрын
Depends on the market right now it’s really low at 80 cents a pound. And we get paid by the bale after it has been ginned not by the round bale weight

Conley question down here in Florida and Georgia the gamers have to spray paint the farm and what field the cotton come from is that something you have to do in Texas?
@conleybanman Жыл бұрын
We got tags with rfid chips in them and the gin tracks every bale. We just call it in and turn in our bales shortly after a guy comes out to the field and tags them
