Thank you for sharing this bit of history Omar. So much has been covered up and lost. So many African American grave yards have been paved over (Dallas) and bodies literally thrown in the trash. I grew up in Dallas near a slave cemetery that was uncovered recently and while most of us who grew up in the area knew it existed and it was haunted, it’s been rededicated and is amazing. Freedman's Cemetery - a must to visit when in Dallas. There’s been countless deaths near and on the Central freeway there because it was built over a cemetery and the bodies were not all relocated. Also, I’m moving to Mexico soon and hope you, Joe and the boys will visit the haunted graveyard there and Dracula’s grave.

He didn't do it as a job (he would have loved that though). He did it just because he wanted to. Learned how to do it correctly and offered to help several cemeteries in our area who had headstones broken from falling or vandals. They were very grateful that someone cared enough to do it right.

At the little girl's grave...the doll in the rocking chair definitely has different clothes on. My mother-in-law has this doll and it is actually a Christmas Animation...she was originally dressed in a Christmas nightgown and little bunny slippers and had a little stuffed bear hanging over the side of the chair in her right hand...when plugged in the the chair rocked slowly. The name of the animation was "Waiting for Santa."

Off topic, My best friend who was into the paranormal bought the same model Hearse JFK was carried in. Being a mechanic, he brought it to me. That vehicle was always a nightmare to work on. I finally asked him to stop bringing it to me. The simplest things to fix always turned in to all day repairs. Almost every brand new part I put on did not work. Things would also stop working in the shop. I think it was cursed

Ana Huitronova go check them out. I been to both. Look them up first, bachelor's Grove has lots of history, i believe thousands of bodies burried and only like 20 headstones, number of bodies is unknown reallyy. The hospital is illegal to enter.

As a teenager my friends and I would go out there all the time at night. Behind the cemetery was all citrus groves owned by the Lykes brothers, their home across the street from there on the corner of Fort dade & Citrus way. There used to be 3 or 4 sheds out there behind the cemetery

Pray8ng for all of the slaves to rest in peace and the terrible trauma they had to suffer in that shed oh my goodness....when will this racism ever end, these Africian Americans bring such joy to our lives, and they have to live with this everyday! It is passed on through generations too, they still live it!
