Haunted Llancaiach Fawr Manor is a beautiful old building that dates back to the 1500s. There is so much history, including the King of England staying on a short visit. However, there appears to be a darker side as the house is full of protection marks, demon nets, burn marks to ward off demons and witches, and even protection bags found in chimneys. Was this just superstition because of the witch trials and the plague... or was there something darker they were scared of? Kag and I went to find out.

Arnie is amazing! He said he rarely joins in with groups, preferring a cup of tea instead, but ended up investigating with us the whole night as we had so much fun with him. Yes that didn't occur to me until I was doing the editing. We appeared to have the same at the Skirrid Inn, with the devils cup not being filled. Almost like they kept that belief and it was important to them. Glad you enjoyed it ❤️

I've been dying my hair black since I was like 14-15 And I'm 44 now. With my luck only the roots would color and ends would be black lmfaooo!!! I have family connections to this place and went there for a ghost tour about 15 years ago. My mum, who was a skeptic at a time, got slapped or struck in the face, across her cheek, by something while we were standing in a group in the kitchen opposite the fireplace. She was standing in the middle of the entire group and so if anything was to be thrown it would have hit someone else first. We would have been standing where the bed he was talking about would have been. I'm sure we had the same guide as you too.

Maybe a bit of a language/dialect barrier with the spirits? The unpronounceable (for us) house name and heavy accent of the guide may be clues. Might as well blame that for the low activity as anything else. Fascinating place! I’ve seen Amy & Jarrad use translation app on GhostTube in Eastern Europe with some success

Definitely! The cool thing is the new Samsung phone coming out next month has an AI translation programme. Means you can talk to somebody and it will immediately change their language to yours and visa versa. Could be useful for travel :)

Hi gals I'm wondering if the scorch marks have been added over the years because of paranormal events from the early days to present days of the house's history. Something certainly made them scared and superstitious. The houses in the British isles and Wales are so bathed in history just knowing that house was built in the 1600s in mind boggling. They wouldn't know about Australia Cook discovered Australia in the 1700s I think it may have been 1770? As usual you girls have knocked it out of the park great episode and very interesting information from... was it Arnie I didn't quite catch it. They were so superstitious back then. It is curious about the top room having so many compared to the rest of the house and other places we have visited. We may never know though why. I think 8 months later... I may just be able to say it a little lol.
