I was just there and rode this 2x. It worked, but long delay on animations so you can get on ride and miss it. It didn't show once but did my other go.

They won't....it was supposed to happen at WDW, but the outlay was sent to Japan instead.... Disney says it's because WDW caters to an international audience, and that audience comes from all over to see WDW as it is, 365 days a year...but never say never...

@@feliciasingleton4849 it’s a once in a life time destination for most, so they don’t want guests to fell as if they missed out on something. Haunted mansion holiday is one of the most expansive overlays besides hyperspace mountain

This year's Gingerbread House was made to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the overlay, taking inspiration from all the past designs, including the Reindeer Carousel, the Man-Eating Wreath, and the Gingerbread Iron Maiden!

@@AnActualCapybara1 Basically it’s because WDW is more of a one trip destination for guests vs Disneyland. So people going to WDW for one in their life wouldn’t experience that. Hence why they don’t get overlays

It was supposed to be there, but the decorations were sent to Japan instead. Disneys reasoning for not having this in Disney world is because world gets more international tourists compared to Disneyland which gets more locals. The international tourists probably wouldn’t like that they spent so much money and can’t do the original, unlike Disneyland where since they get more locals, they need to change things up for them to keep them coming back

The Ghost Host still hangs at the end of the Stretching Room! This is a layover for Halloween and Christmas, so ride aspects were changed. The rest of the year, the Mansion is normal, including the hanging.

The problem with WDW is that it's a tourist park, people from all over the world want to see the Haunted Mansion, while at Disneyland the same people go all the time so they can use the change.
