I like how Mark and Misha seem to mix symphonic black metal with djent so seamlessly in this tune. As a huge fan of both black metal and djent, this is an absolute pleasure to listen to. :)

Now that I know there is a version of this with Devin Townsend's vocals on it, it is all I can think about. I have seriously been fantasizing about a Misha/Devin collaboration for so long, probably 5+ years. Especially, after listening to that Girlfight song "Fucking Fuck" Misha's sort of homage to Devin/SYL. Now just so no one takes this the wrong way. I think this song is already awesome on it's own as an instrumental and I never would have thought it needed or would really even work with vocals. But, after Misha mentioned that a version with Devin singing is already in existence, I can't stop imagining what it sounds like. And, after 50+ plays of the original this afternoon, I am really starting to think it could/would work really well with his vocal style(s). And now, I am so damn curious to hear it. Please release it SOON..... Misha/Mark.......PLS!!!!

Not the biggest fan of Periphery (yes, because of Spencer's vocals --sometimes they work, most times I hate them) so its nice to have some new and untainted Holcomb/Misha compositions. Also, while I dig the mind of poppy vibe Periphery has taken to, it's also nice to have some straight metal again.
