Great video! I love the connection to Henry VIII; now I'll need to stop by that entrance next time I'm in London and marvel at all the trivia this video of yours has provided. Excellent! 🙂

Thank you for the tour of this hospital and history unknown to me - thoroughly done as always. (I find it a very typical - and sad - example of people's stupidity when as late as 1987 instead of demolishing the statue of the king altogether, they outfit the tyrant with crown and sceptre. Truly sad.)

Another interesting video. Thanks! Also had the sad thought during the "how many people pass though this gate..." part of how many went in though the gate but didn't live to go back out. But that's life, I guess. I'm sure some also left the gate intending to go back in but also didn't make it for one reason or another.

The oldest building in the United States is considered "new" compared to some buildings in the U.K. and Europe.

"The myserable people lyeng in the streees, offendyng every clene person passyng by the way with thyre fylthye and nastye savors..." Uh, is this the 16th century or the 21st century we're talking about? Truly time is a flat circle.
