I made the first recipe in the video. The dough/potato mixture was not as solid as it was in the video so I added more corn starch and added cheese and rolled them up in balls. It was delicious!!

Merlene Donald, Hello, I don’t see why u couldn’t use a sweet potato, after all, a potato is a potato, and I’m glad u brought it up, or I might not have thought to using sweet potatoes, not only will it give a different flavor, but I’m sure it’ll be tasty! I will be trying both types. Actually, I wonder how other root vegetables and a rutabaga would taste, would they bind and hold together like the potatoes, who knows till one gives it a try, if they don’t hold together, might have to add potatoes with them! In Spanish, the potato balls filled with cheese are Rellenos de Papas. We don't batter them and use a different filling, but next time I make them, I will try your recipe. Thank you.
